Father from Iran and mum from Morocco singing in Ladino and comes from Israel. Ladino very close to the old Castilano of 15th century. Ferdinand and Isabella decided that the new united Iberia should be Christian with no Jews or Moslems. Ladino went with its speakers chiefly to Eastern Mediterranean lands where the sultan of Turkey said "Ferdinand and Isabella's loss is our gain" owing to the industrious nature of the Iberian Jews

How nice! She has a beautiful voice!!! I am a native spanish speaker this language she is singing is Ladino, very close to Castellano, and really easy to understands for me!
@j037837 she sings mainly in ladino, which is a similar dialect to spanish. ladino is derived from old castilian (spanish), and therefore has many similarities.
yeah i was like that is spanish I have never heard before and maybe a few words here and there and my first language is primarily spanish

She is singing in ladino, the language Sephardi Jews (from Portugal and Spain) spoke then. It's a mixture between hebrew and the local language.
