Funny even after watching this footage I still have absolutely no recollection of this song being played. Hard to believe this was the only footage they showed on teevee
Pavement was a band that influenced all the other indie bands that came after the nineties. Pavement was one of the most creative, original and brilliant bands that existed. Here is my tribute. GENIUSES!
This is fantastic!! Thanks a million for uploading. I was at this gig too, and Pavement were (and still are really) my favourite band. I know there are 3 mp3s available from this gig at least - Stereo (poor quality), Range Life and Summer Babe, both excellent quality - all of which I have. So the show was definitely recorded by the Beeb. Anyone have any more of it please drop me a line!
Yeah.. Albert King was the man I was thinking of. Anyway, I think Pavement did a surprisingly good job with this one. SM sang differently than he normally does and it worked out for them here.
i need bigger speakers

Why are the Brits the only ones that appreciate great American music (speaking as A American)!?
allanosterm 3 years ago
They only have like 4 channels of TV, and boring shit at that. So they go out and experience culture. We, however, just stay home.

i remember this from the time. it may be a creedence cover but the main riff is so similar to" born under a bad sign" by cream.superb.

Not trying to be a jerk, but isn't that song originally by somebody else? Some old bluesman or something.. I just can't think of the name right now.
