  • i need bigger speakers

  • I was there at the front!

Funny even after watching this footage I still have absolutely no recollection of this song being played. Hard to believe this was the only footage they showed on teevee

  • hm... has anybody got an bootleg of this concert? I love "Sinister Purpose"!!!

  • take a look on Indiepedia . de

-> Pavement -> Bootlegs (scroll to the bottom of the page)

    ;)

  • Thanks!

  • Bob Nastanovich = Greatest Cowbell player of all time!!

  • Bob, we gotta have more COWBELL!

This is my all time favorite band.

  • Why are the Brits the only ones that appreciate great American music (speaking as A American)!?

  • They only have like 4 channels of TV, and boring shit at that. So they go out and experience culture. We, however, just stay home.

  • nah, radiohead, then pavement

  • Very good cover! I have to give them that!

Very good song aswell, fun that Creedence isen't dead these days!

  • This is fantastic!! Thanks a million for uploading. I was at this gig too, and Pavement were (and still are really) my favourite band. I know there are 3 mp3s available from this gig at least - Stereo (poor quality), Range Life and Summer Babe, both excellent quality - all of which I have. So the show was definitely recorded by the Beeb. Anyone have any more of it please drop me a line!

  • I was there! It rocked so hard I tore a bollock!

  • Brilliant :)

  • do you have the whole show

  • That's exactly waht I was going to say. And am asking.

  • 'Fraid I've only got that one song as that was all the BBC showed.

  • Brilliant, yes this is a creedence clearwater cover. I miss Pavement...

  • me too.:(

  • Godly

  • i remember this from the time. it may be a creedence cover but the main riff is so similar to" born under a bad sign" by cream.superb.

  • Not trying to be a jerk, but isn't that song originally by somebody else? Some old bluesman or something.. I just can't think of the name right now.

  • actualy you're right ,i think it was writtenby booker t as a gift for albert king but creams is ussualy viewed as the standard

  • Yeah.. Albert King was the man I was thinking of. Anyway, I think Pavement did a surprisingly good job with this one. SM sang differently than he normally does and it worked out for them here.

  • Its a CCR cover mate.

  • awesome !
