Agree! I heard her works first, in the late 80s; had her first works on cassette. Don't ask me how I found it. I do not remember. I used to try to play along with her. I wish I could find it now. I still hear the music in my head: especially that blues-type cut. As a woman and a musician, she was an inspiration to me (I was a teen).

This chick covered a Stevie Wonder tune (Where were you when I needed you?) on an lp she released... while I'm having a hard time finding that lp/cut, I'm glad to know that someone else out there has even heard of the woman and posted her and her work - thanks!
