i know superman isnt real, but if he moved that fast the floor and air would ignite. his football clothes would certainly be destroyed and his hand would be moving so fast that if he tried to push someone his hand would go through them

@Bladen12345 He should be creating mini sonicbooms moving that fast. Also his clothing is protected by his bio eletric "aura" which explains why they wouldn't be destroyed. I think Clark has such good control of his powers that is why he didn't go through Myx when he pushed him at super speed.

@awsomechris5241 .now the reason he goes slower in the higher seasons like 10 is not becuz hes actually not quick anymore. its becuz the lower seasons, hes just known by very little people as an alien immigrant if you will, where as higher seasons like 10 he is looked at as the worlds saviour or metropolises hero, by slowing down and blurring his image gives the people a sign of hope that he is there making the saves and exists. back then he didnt want people to know him so he moved quick enough

hey @awsomechris5241 and the rest of people asking why he is faster here than season 10. thats is false. in season 7 clark has electricity at a frozen mark meaning hes moving atleast 93,000 miles per second which is mighty fucking fast, enough to run around the world and back without people knowing you moved similar to this scene here.

I asked myself that quesiton to. If you break it down to physics, to cover the amount of ground that he covered in the space of less then of a second would put his speed in the thousands of miles per hour range. The distance between the field and the lock room and back has gotta 300 ft? so 600 ft per second? What is that mph wise?

@MrVolcom512 That has nothing to do with it. During the later seasons the budget for the show was cut, therefore the special effects were few and far between. I never noticed Clark moving slower in the later seasons.
