One of the most beautiful compositions ever assembled. Otis Redding was a once in a lifetime talent. I'm not opposed to young artists like Kanye and Jay-Z sampling his material, because it opens a gate for younger generations to delve into this soulful music. "Otis" doesn't come close to a paramount performance such as this, but it does keep a terrific groove, and it is refreshing hearing Redding's soulful voice in a hip-hop record. However, the original, is a masterpiece. R.I.P.
