2007 Subaru 2.5i Rallycross - cams, suspension, and quickrack goodies

u have a 2.5i legacy (auto tranny unfortunately)... are there any cheap mods u suggest me down to gain slight hp? i've been researching and i heard best bet is cams but that gets pricey as well, especially with labor

Im looking to do all this to my 07 2.5i, do you know any websites that would be helpful, maby low prices, also what is this on a quarter mile? will it beat an sti? and did you paint the rims yourself lol. that hood scoop is after market right? if you coiuld reply back to all this that would be tons helpful. thanks

Good observation! But he has the R160 rear diff out of a WRX, so he does have a LSD in the rear.

I was able to take the hairpin in 1st gear (auto) in the 2.5i whereas I was in 2nd in the GC, where it bogged down.

I was definitely able to carry more speed with the 2.5i. But I took it a bit too wide on my first lap. My driving style in the 2.5i was a little different than in the GC. I had to focus more on momentum in the GC than the 2.5i.

open front and rear diffs really seem to let the car maintain speed around that tight hair pin as compared to the GC.
