There was no better American actress in the 20th century...hands down. She could act rings around Hepburn, Bette Davis, Streep, and the rest. She only made 33 films and had 8 Oscar nominations. 25% of her film work was Oscar-worthy. No one came close to her.

Holy Shit that movie was so intense. I just saw it for the first time a day ago. The writing was so brilliant - these self absorbed characters - so bleak and so tasty. I LOVE YOU WOODY!
