  • Even though this is all clips at least they were imaginative with them and the music

  • Even Daffy Duck can't pull a Donald.

  • hahahaha i guess that's the reason we all love Donald! he can be so nice and hot-tempered at the same time. the question about his webbed feet cracked me up!

  • I haven't seen this in years! Thanks!

  • The Narrator sounds like Stan Freeberg

  • I've been looking for a good quality upload of this special for a while! Thanks so much for uploading this!

  • danorld is evil at 8:28

  • We had this on video, when I was a kid, taped from TV when it first came on. Haven't seen it in years but always remembered it.

  • Hehehehe! Donald's last letter that said his temper was intolerable sounded like a mobster!!! LOL! Donald shot his audience! And wow! Mickey is absolutely terrified of Donald here!

  • how do you get a copy of this cartoon? I've been looking everywhere for it

  • I remember when my uncle taped this for me off TV from Philadelphia station KYW-TV 3 (as an NBC Station),

  • The "I Want a New Duck" song sounds awfully similar to the "Ghostbusters" theme song.

  • @smartamateur The original song was "I Want A New Drug" by Huey Lewis and The News. Huey Lewis sued Ray Parker Jr. for plagiarizing that intro for "Ghostbusters". "Weird Al" Yankovic spoofed "I Want A New Drug" and called it "I Want A New Duck".

  • "Dear Donald, why do you have webbed feet?"

    "Because I'm a duck, you little smart-aleck!"

I gotta side with Donald on that one.

  • Do these people not know he's a duck?!

  • 4:25 - "Better mind your manners, b!%(h! Do just what I say!"

o_0 Yeesh, it's not Donald who needs anger managment...

  • that's some clever and efficent editing

  • Who's voicing Mickey?

  • Les Perkins.

  • @byw613 Wayne Allwine.

  • I taped most of this off TV back in 1987 when it first aired.

  • I have this on tape, too!

  • @disneyfan85 me too but in spanish

  • Donald vs. Daffy, who'd win?

  • "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" answered that question...it would be a draw :)

  • Man, this came out when I was in Jr. High! Probably the Disney special from the 80s I remember the most because it had an adult sense of humor. "Donald Duck: The E True Hollywood Story!"

  • I didn't think I'd ever see this again. I was little the last time I saw this. I liked the part from 5:32 to 6:10.

"Uh oh, Big Ears is going to snitch on me." lol

  • Is there any new footage in this special?? I feel as though its just scenes taken from different Donald Duck cartoons.

  • They are.

  • Ok, that's what I thought.

  • They used footage from the different cartoons to make some kinda TV special.

  • Oh my god I thought I'd never see this again!

  • The first song that they played. Is that "Weird" Al Yankovic?

  • Yes, it is.

  • That song is actually a parody of "I Want a New Drug" by Huey Lewis and the News.

  • The scenes with Donald in his office near the beginning of the show are from "A Day In the Life of Donald Duck", a 1956 episode of the Disneyland show. But here, it has been colorized from the original black and white.

  • @disneyfan85 it looks like it was filmed in color.

  • This part was on the Variety Show "Disneyland", now called the Wonderful World of Disney.

  • I remember seeing this such a long time ago in the Disney Channel! I've been trying to find this! Thanks for posting it!

  • It was originally shown on NBC, hence, the KING 5 logo shown at the starts of some commercials here (KING 5 was the NBC affiliate for Seattle).

  • When I got this on tape, it too had a NBC station logo at the start of some commercials. Only mine is for KRON 4, the then-NBC affiliate for the San Francisco Bay Area.
