I'm so glad she sang this song. This was a huge comeback for her. Every since the top 8, she was kind of going downhill. But this put her back on top as she was in the top 24 - 8. Even though she got eliminated, at least she ended on a good note.

This performance haunted me for days after the show. No other performance from this season has made this kind of impression. Unfortunately, the show is saturated with bias and often forces talented artists to strain outside of their niche. Brooke is fantastic behind the piano and is perhaps the most natural and vulnerable performer from this season. It's no surprise to me that she made it through her well publicized flubs. Out of all the finalists from this season, I'd actually buy her album.

Brooke was really good NOT DEPRESSING at all for the first 4 weeks. She said right before the whole contest she has a confidence issue.

Her problem is she always wanted to experiment but her experiments started to bump after 'Here comes the Sun'. And because she is a different singer, the judges can never be specific with what she should do unlike they will tell others to hit the notes, let it out.

But I respect her for trying to be different week after week. Which other contestants tried?
