I had one when they first came out. I spent hundreds of hours coding in Basic and it rarely worked when I got done. Syntax errors still haunt my dreams. :)

None of us that had real C= 64's ever did any gay ass salute. Tho I'm sure your just doing it to mock their old commericials. I never actually saw any commericals, they were just ads in Popular Science to wet your appetite, and then as soon as they hit JC Penny I rushed out and bought one of the first Vic-20s with gold emblem. Grandpa bought C=64 later for me for an xmas present, never saw that coming.

Brings back great memories. It's so hard to believe by today's standards that 64k was actually at one point in time, considered to be a whole heck of a lot of memory. I had the Vic20, which was before the c64, and they bragged about THAT, just because you got an extra 4k of memory. LOL I also had the old ti994a as well which I belive was 16k.
