  • Holy cow, that gun shoots by itself eh!

  • @DreamIn8bit Its manned by a guy inside the vehicle on a Computer type of thing

  • I'm from Quebec ,though I am English I speak French as well.

Pretty French girls train French the best.

  • Can Canada afford more military spending? Of course. Do we need it? Thankfully, not yet. But we should have the strategy for immediate mobilization and vast enlistment. Pacifism is only secure with preparedness and implementation of force

  • for me canada is the best contry

  • There training in a winter forest, but are fighting in a blazing desert. I hope they have other more accurate training grounds.

Anyways, keep up the good work from a Canadian.

  • @Cujoh i do belive they got to the interior of B.C it can get up to 45c ive been there in kamloops when that happend thank god for soft serve ice cream

  • @Cujoh They also train in Arizona before shipping out.

  • please don't hate french we are biligal.

sorry, if i got any english error I'm a 15 year old boy that learn english in a french high school :D

vive le canada, je remercie les troupes d'être la pour nous.

  • @Thescreamo411Why would you think WE hate you....who is WE anyways? I thought we were all Canucks? I hope you are apart of that!

  • @Thescreamo411 im french from Quebec but still i talk with english people and they never know that im french at first till i start talking french with my friends cuz when i speak english i dont have the french accent and when i speak french i dont have the english accent thats pretty nice lol , lache pas tu va voir sa viens vite l'anglais quand tu veux vraiment l'apprendre.

  • @Thescreamo411 your english is perfect, as a canadian i love quebec but hate your politicians and especially the special treatment but i respect the french culure.

  • Canadians: Nice weather, eh?

    Everyone else: It's fricking freezing!

  • training in the cold and snow for missions in the desert..I love canada :)

  • @bloodsling

You retard, the Hindu Kush range is snow covered most of the year. If Canadian forces are training in cold they are doing right !

  • @bloodsling actually the cold is for conditioning the troops to the harshness of extreme climates, we also travel to texas to train just as american spec ops train here for winter climate.

  • *cont. But the Canadians you never wanted to be in the regiments facing Canadians because hell or high water without hesitation or fear they did what their commanders told them to do. The objective was the only thing that mattered. Such relentless determination made them the scariest opponent we could face.

  • Canadian army rocks, but this video sucks.

  • i didnt know they had an army

  • Josee is quite a babe.LOL

  • Is that machine gun controlled from inside the vehicle? I couldn't see how the trigger was pulled. Is there a camera to see outside?

  • its unfortunate that Canada spends such little money on our military. :\ half of the money (i THINK its 1.5 billion, however please don't quote me on the actual number) is spend just paying the troops, while the other half is for updating and maintaining equipment. imagine what our military would be like if they had double the spending for equipment. O.o

  • YA - - OKA were is the ENGLISH TRANSLATION People - - go figure

  • If that`s not enough to impress any 13 year old I don`t know what is. The government is secretive about how much has been spent in Afghanistan, but it`s well over $20 Billion. We`ve accomplished nothing over there. We`ve only appeased the war mongering colonialist Americans and British ( they were pissed because we didn`t go into Iraq).and the 20 billion? We don`t have it. Our country is broke. Our enemy isn`t hiding in a cave in Shitistan, they`re sitting in Ottawa taxing and spending

  • @phredhead ha! 20 million? in 2010 our estimated net worth was 6 trillion!

  • @phredhead You know so little about your own country/ military/ history/ and it's accomplishments that it's almost shameful.

Talk to any Afghan and tell them that nothing was accomplished, they'll laugh in your face. Tons has been done over there, it just doesn't make good ratings so you don't hear about it much.

Based on a recent polls, people in Afghanistan are the second happiest people on earth (behind Fiji) mostly because the Allies/Afghan people got rid of the Taliban government.

  • @phredhead neg, they are sitting a few hundred km south of us in a city called washington in the district of columbia, who i believe is currently doing more damage and a bigger threat to canada, then any overseas government or army

  • @phredhead we are recovering fast way faster then the usa they are 7 trillion dollars in debt way more then us ...... so its not so bad

  • CANADA OWNS!!!!

  • the Canadian Army are like Spartans

  • @stiige that's like the best exemple.

  • this is one time in my life where I acutally wish I paid attention in french class.

  • Vive le vrai Nord, fort et libre!

  • this is good, now the rest of the world wont underestimate our elite brothers in arms!!! america cough* COUGH*

  • @DynamiteProductionz1 I highly doubt that a small display like that is enough to change the minds of the largest military power in the history of the world.

  • @sulla175 idk along time ago large occupying forces were the main part of the war but now it's transformed to were it's more effective to have 10 highly trained men then vs 40 basically trained men and when it comes to skilled soldiers weather it be a basic soldier or JTF2 counter terrorist were pretty high up there

  • @sulla175 you do know that it included more than that. They filmed it at the end, and the end happened to be this, iam an army cadet (not what it used to be) and i've spent alot of time with the canadian forces'. (soldiers) and we use improved american equipment, and are trained better than most armies. (yes more than yankes) Marine training, parris island. (12 weeks) canadian basic military qualification (14 weeks). all must take BMQ, and its more than US marine training, no matter what you do.

  • @sulla175 the united states is NOT the most pwerful ever. they just like 2 pretend. Julius cesar was (Rome)

  • @DynamiteProductionz1 i would be embarrassed to be american

  • jokes, the ppl watching are more worried about the weather, they're all scrambling to warm up. The Canadians are like, this is warm!

  • @jgillies93 what cold weather? haha

  • @jgillies93 What does it mean to be cold? ;)

  • @absmar omg yess good answer

  • im having trouble understanding what NATO stands for

  • When I went to the abbotsford airshow the cf put on a demo with a lav ch 146 griffon and a whole bunch of infantry soldiers it all started when the lav drove over an ied simulated by pirotechnics

  • When I went to the abbotsford airshow the Canadian forces put on a demo with a lav, ch-146 griffon and a whole bunch of infantry soldiers

  • What is the vehicle at the end?

  • @PcGamerPaul This Armoured Patrol Vehicle is the RG-31 Mine-Protected Vehicle.

  • @CanadianArmyNews it is made by "International"

  • @PcGamerPaul Its a piece of garbage. One of the worst vehicles we've ever purchased. 15ton vehicle running on a 5ton max axle.... hhmmmm see something wrong here?... has to go slower than a snail over small bumps

  • I love how the other counties representatives are all dressed up in warm clothes. And we are standing there just like anyother day haha. Sorry if my spelling is bad. Cheers from Calgary.

  • I wish the army would put on demos for the public all across Canada

  • If you live within driving distance of a base, they will have "Armed Forces Day" on the first weekend in June I think. It is great fun, especially for the kids.

  • @MegaWolfgang like a military parade lol. Parliment could be the new red square

  • @MegaWolfgang there are, you just gotta get your hands on some military documents and some files you can find in libraries 8)

this video gives me so much pride \o/

  • @MegaWolfgang They come to the Toronto Exhibition every year. I've seen them do a navel boarding demo. They had the Leo1, Griffin, Lav3 on display for the public to see too. I am not sure what they do in other major city's.

  • taxpayer money impressing NATO commanders?

  • too much french speaking they need to put in some more english

  • ...sir the majority of the military and civilians employees at CFB Valcartier speak french. You need to read the Code of Conduct of the Canadian Forces because it is prohibited to be xenophobe while serving in the CF.

  • Canada is a bilingual country, and a good portion of our forces come from Quebec. I am proud of all Canadians and feel that the french language as much as the english language.

Le Canada est un pays bilingue, et une bonne partie de nos forces viennent du Québec. Je suis fier de tous les Canadiens et estime que la langue française autant que l'anglais.

Pardon any errors in my french.

  • @laughingboy0068 I wish i new french better but when they try to teach you in school it all gets lost

  • @21Assasin I'm from Quebec, and I speak french as first language. What they teach us in school is very hard and often useless, so I understand how hard it can be for you, since your first language is not french.

  • @21Assasin you will get it some day im french and english as come naturally for me just by listening to movies in english. you can try listening french movies but you may hate it ahah

  • @laughingboy0068 I'm from western Canada and sometimes people say they could care less about French, but I think that it gives us something special that we can all work together and still maintain different cultures.

  • @pspboy7 ya but the Qubecs still want to be their own countrie and that pisses me off ( at least thats what ive been told

  • @BaconTV123 Not everyone in Quebec are separatist. It's just that the separatists are the ones who shout the loudest.

  • @pspboy7 totaly agree with u

  • @pspboy7 damn right im a french guy from quebec but still i speak english perfectly thats a good advantage now im learning japanese lol its a bit harder to learn

  • @laughingboy0068 Van Doos man!

  • @laughingboy0068 Probably used a french translator rofl

  • @laughingboy0068 Go Quebec!

  • @laughingboy0068 Thanks alot and we need more Canadians to think this way or else, we might as well make Quebec a country filled with immature people... Respect to you.

  • @laughingboy0068 french makes this country a joke. theres 1 province that ACTUALLY uses french, and the rest of us have to listen to french translations, offer services in french, read french on literally everythig. its rediculous.theres nothing wrong with people speaking french, but for god sakes dont make the majority of the country have to bend over so you can "keep your heritage". half my family is french and you dont see me expecting everyone to learn it because of it.

  • @laughingboy0068 You also have errors in your English.

  • @laughingboy0068 canada is NOT a bilingual country, Quebec speaks french,

not the other provinces and territories, and quebec wants to be its own country.

  • @laughingboy0068 if you did not translate you french and just write it i must say thats good i dont see any errors :)

  • Not a very good idea....

Letting other nations learn our tactics

  • just makes our allies better

  • @umoclenad They're our allies, dumbass. Every heard of NATO?

  • Its frustrating that the German officer was more proficient in English than some of the Canadian officers.

Great idea, great event - definately a great way to promote idea sharing amonst allies.

  • This was at Valcartier, so way more French speaking, and since the vid has subtitles, it lets them speak in the language they are more comfortable in. I'm guessing the German guy can't speak French!

  • he was a military atache at the german embassy so thats kindof a given

  • Very Cool.

  • awesome
