i installed this on my ipod touch. the easiest thing to do right after you put in the zagg, is to keep a silicone case on the phone or ipod. it tightens up the corners and sticks to the phone or ipod.leave it on for about 12 hours. that's what i did. hope that helps.

Anything leather especially a dark color will stain, bleed, and leave a mark. No matter if its real or fake, or how its tanned. Try simple green to remove the stain. Also I was curious what other cases have you tried? Can you put a sider case on top of the Zagg?

well thats what i heard, yeah 3gs does have the same problem :-[ the reason for this is apple impacted so many new features in the same slim design and that caused heating problems when used a lot, and when it heats up a lot it causes the discoloration but on black its not noticable [ i called best buy and asked if that was true and they said "it is possible"] but on the white its not. i asked if the 1yr warranty covered it and if i could get it replaced they said yes!
If I would get a ZAGG invisible shield I would have Best Buy install it for like $8 so I wouldn't have to worry about it and hopefully they could do it perfectly. :)
Hi m8, i had the same protection for my iphone and i had the same marks as yours and the same thing happened. The problem with this protection is that i sucks the color from your leather or jeans, i used to have my favorite blue jeans and my Iphone in my pocket after 3-4 weeks later the agg protection on the back changed color to blue and even more in the corners
I too cut the bottom and top off...much easier to fit on the phone too n 6 months on, still looking good. its the only protection i use too, dont use extra skins, cases or pouches, just the zagg full body and it does the job!

I laid my white iPhone with it's Zagg shield on top of the Apple iPhone cleaning cloth for a night, and it left black steaks all over the back of the phone's protection.
U have it and it sucks. from holding the phone the plastic has turned off color and now my white Iphone looks egg shell color. what sucks is that the parts of the white that are not covered are white the rest is dirty and can not be cleaned. Oh, yeah the edges are always dirty.
I watched your video last night before i installed the zagg on my white iphone, i managed to do it perfect after 1.5 hrs. I waited for 16 hrs before i used the phone. This thing is a super pain to put on. I was too quick to put mine on. I didn't have the room lit well enough (the room light wasn't enough an extra light source is recommended) and because of this I got the tiniest amount of lint under the shield and now the screen looks terrible. I've got the black 16gb and the back doesn't look bad, in fact it looks great. Now I've got to send it back and get a new one sent. Listen to Carlos and take CARE putting this thing on.

I don;t mind the orangepeel much. In fact I love it. I have had it with my white rebel and it is awesome. I also had no issues with the sides. Watching all these videos I was nervous. It took me maybe 25-30 minutes to get it on well. I used a hair dryer on low, then medium, then high setting to help the plastic mold on better. I have had it for about 1.5 weeks and it looks great. Maybe I will get ahold of a camera and make a few videos. So happy I ended up getting this thing!
A tip for replacing the solution (their barely put any in their anyways)is just add water. Thats right! I ran out of solution and just filled it with water and misted the screen and phone before install and it worked perfect! Good luck (BTW, keep up the great reviews. You definately serve a purpose to us out here in search of the perfect case!)

Hey Carlos I know this video is "outdated" but I just want to tell you that if you want a flat back shield you can go with iShieldz.
They offer a flat back shield and look out dance2jeffreee who is a great reviewer and and just reviewed this iShieldz flat back thing. You do good reviews btw.

Good video but i am still going to get an invisible shield for my samsung instinct. I am worried about the dedication to it, but i will not use any other cases to put on top of the phone so i hope the edges wont peel or any paint stuff sticks to it

Awesome iPhone vids dude, not sure I trust the Zagg alone. Right now I am rockin the xtrememac tuffwrap. I would recommend them as one the best skins I have seen....keep up the cool iPhone vids man.

This thing is a super pain to put on. I was too quick to put mine on. I didn't have the room lit well enough (the room light wasn't enough an extra light source is recommended) and because of this I got the tiniest amount of lint under the shield and now the screen looks terrible. I've got the black 16gb and the back doesn't look bad, in fact it looks great. Now I've got to send it back and get a new one sent. Listen to Carlos and take CARE putting this thing on.

Zagg is not good for the 16GB white iPhone because you get black marks and that, and you can see all the dirt, on the black iPhone it works perfect!

I don;t mind the orangepeel much. In fact I love it. I have had it with my white rebel and it is awesome. I also had no issues with the sides. Watching all these videos I was nervous. It took me maybe 25-30 minutes to get it on well. I used a hair dryer on low, then medium, then high setting to help the plastic mold on better. I have had it for about 1.5 weeks and it looks great. Maybe I will get ahold of a camera and make a few videos. So happy I ended up getting this thing!

A tip for replacing the solution (their barely put any in their anyways)is just add water. Thats right! I ran out of solution and just filled it with water and misted the screen and phone before install and it worked perfect! Good luck (BTW, keep up the great reviews. You definately serve a purpose to us out here in search of the perfect case!)

guys's dont be fooled! its SO not the same thing. sure it's cheaper but after like two months theres guaranteed to be a scratch - i will kill over the protection of my ipod and it still scratched wen i got the "bestskinever"...jus pay the extra money - its wrth it. this thing NEVA scratches and if it ever miraculously does they replace it for free - bodygaurdz or bestskinsever doesnt offer tht...sorry for the essay lol but u deserve to kno the truth!

i had it on my iPhone, same as in the video here, i couldn't get the corners to fit (at all) cut them off lol, and after 35 minutes of fitting the back alone, within 2 weeks it went a coffee stained brown colour :/ i took it off out of desperation
not worth it at all in my opinion

im with you on cutting those edeges off i got a zagg and i tried for so long to get the back on perfect that i ran out of the solution so theyre sending me a new one and i think im gonna just cut those edges off but if you could do a video of yourself installing it and cutting the edges off id really appreciate it so i could just see how to do it.
