Thank you for this video as it is very informative!!!! I recently had hard plastic ulnar gutter splint fitted by a physiotherapist in a hospital for a 5th metacarpal fracture and she did NOT use any padding. After 4 days of additional pain to the fracture, knuckles and wrist bone I added padding, but that created additional pressure issues. I left voice mail messages for her, but they have not returned. I have now removed the splint and will be filing a complaint with the hospital.
hello, where can i find this product of ulnar gutter splint? i asked dr to make me one but they wanted real splint. so they gave me list of phone number, all of them said they dont have it and. i had hard time to find one. please let me know where i can find it. if not, tell me what i need to make one. thank you
I had to assist a Tech with this once at the hospital as part of my EMT "Ride along" (really spent at the ER).
Was really fun.
