The first one sounds like someone took the Portrait of Ruin version and gave it a classic soundset or something. Original doesn't sound like that at all.

I think "Persínate" is a better translation to "Cross your heart"
KizukiYamada 10 months ago

My fav version must be the CV Medal one. All the soundtracks(and the rmk ones) there were epic, especially Wicked Child & Cross Your Heart.

Hmm. The first one doesn't sound exactly like the one I've seen in other vids of HC. Why? I like that one better, though.

The first one doesn't sound like the HC version. Look up "The music of videogames - Haunted Castle" or something and listen for yourself.

I like the PoR version but I think the DXC version is best

Where did you get the version from Haunted Castle? I looked everywhere but I can only find the short version.

I thought it was called "crusifix held close"? Oh well, a song by any other name ...epic-ifys(?) just as much!

Crucifix Held Close is the Portrait of Ruin Version.
Magnus619666 2 years ago
this song has 2 names, crucifix held close and cross your heart
jjw1020 2 years ago
@jimbob3332: they are all just called "十字架を胸に" in Japanese, which translates to either "Cross on the/your heart" or "Crucifix held close" in English.
