  • That is a runaway.

  • Damn better board up the intake you'll need more than a turbo! Ive got an 6v92 does it all the time but I dont sit in the truck and call AAA either damn student drivers!

  • This is a runaway diesel, people! Why else would it be sitting on the side of the road, running like it is, belching unending volumes of smoke while fogging out local traffic, running the risk of an automotive pileup? If you could shut it down, you would. But if you can't, this shows what happens. If it was any other mechanical fault, would YOU leave it running?

  • run away... and some of you ppl are dumb... if its running away you cant shut it off.... like dankcorey said you have to plug the intake

  • @DGAF51 put it in high gear and let the clutch out...

  • @AceofSpadesau And what will that do ? the turbo blow's air into the engine (boost engine) when the turbo blow's oil is allowed to pass into the intake system . the smoke is the oil burning off , best thing u can do is shut the engine off as soon as she blow's but most driver's dont know a turbo to a lug nut

  • @TheDavidpayne if you put it in high gear and let the clutch out, you will mechanically stall the motor..

sure it hammers the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, but they are cheaper than the damage caused by a runaway explosion.

That smoke looks like a runaway to me, not oil burning off.

  • no thats a headgasket

  • run away diesel!!

  • black or blue smoke is caused from oil in the intake, not white. when a truck goes lean from a plugged fuel filter, or runs out of fuel, it turns white... that or a head gasket when coolant is seeping into the combustion chamber

  • @midnightridersrepu you're stupid. black smoke in any engine is from an excess of unburnt fuel. blue smoke could be a really cold diesel. or oil depends on if its a MACK or not! LMFAO jk i just dont like MACK too much. coolant burns white. yes you had that right but that is more grey than white.

  • Actually the trucks running on its oil supply the oil going to the turbo is getting in the intake and the trucks is running away the only way to stop it is put a big board over the intake

  • blown turbo

  • oh, sounds like a blew me turbo mate, lets leave it running and see if it fixes itself....moron

  • a blown turbo would leave blue smoke not white. he is running extremely lean, plugged fuel system or bad injector pump

  • @catmand5h A failure in the injection system would cause black smoke. Causes a turbo off a thick gray smoke, it must be a turbo problem.

  • @catmand5h na turbo. pure unburnt diesel fuel is white and the turdo and there to fill in the 50/50 spot so it a 100% fuel and it cant burn tht much at once

  • a turbo and a engine cause the stupid fuck didnt turn it off asap

  • dosnt that mean he blew a turbo

  • blew his turbo, oil in the exhaust.

  • yea thats def a turbo..look at all that fuel

  • oops someone blew a turbo..

  • Someone done gone and blew their turbo :( Not fun!

  • thats one screwed truck

  • I detect one dead cylinder or 4...
