Do go back to Ueno Zoo when the weather is a lot better and it's open! One of my favourite zoo's I've ever visited! Also the guy at 4:20 braving the rain in shorts - go him XDD! I didn't realise there were so many shrines in Ueno [altho I remember a pagoda at the back of the Zoo] so will have to make sure to do some research and find these myself when I go back ;)
@vampy5000 Yeah, I will definitely go back sometime! Yup loads of great shrines in Ueno, one of the older areas i think. The pagoda at the back is the one near the lake that's being refurbished I think :-)
Went to Ueno last week, to the dinosaur exhibition. Wife thought the Ueno area was dirty and for animals though... :)

Yeah Ueno Zoo rocks, got some footage I need to upload from two weeks ago. The Science museum is good too, and the current Dinosaur exhibit. =)

Nice, I love shrines and temples. Kind of sucks how both intended destinations were closed, but I'm sure you can always go some other day.
