I played the original Saints Row back in 2006 when i first got my Xbox 360 and it was alright but i never bothered to complete it and i totally just skipped Saints Row 2, but i recently just played Saints Row 3 and i liked it a lot, but everybody is saying that is sucks and the 2nd one is the best? Can someone give me some reasons why the 2nd one is better?

@The12Jacob in my opinion, the third one was too crazy and out of it. first one was ok, the second one was the best and i still play it alot, and the third one i sold after having it for like 5 days. it got really boring and it didnt seem like it was "gangster" anymore. it was too unrealistic. the second one was too but it stuck with the story and had some good customization options. the 3rd was too new and even mainstream in my opinion.

Not only that in the first game you play as the good-guy gang who is trying to eliminate all other gangs to achieve peace. In sr2 he turned to an asshole, don't get me wrong its fun to play as a dick but don't make the saints a nice guy gang and then turn them into all the other gangs. You even kill the leader of the saints from the 1st in the 2nd for having a conscience.

it may not be very serious but I feel that sr3 is beginning to get ridiculous. To the point where the gameplay may be more fun but I couldn't give two shits about the story. This wasn't the case with sr2, I just think sr3 is all humour and nothing else, I mean when you shot carlos in sr2 there was no silly jokes, I just cannot believe that a serious moment like that would happen in sr3.Not to say that sr2 wasn't ott.

Saint's Row 2 is so much better than Saint's Row The Third. The map is bigger, there's more customization and clothing options, it had more side missions and it just has basically so much more things to offer.

I personally think SR is awesome as hell, but I cant say GTA4 isnt fun. As much as people say blowing the shit out of everything is entertaining, I like to shoot someone in the knee and watch them fall down a flight of stairs(thanks to euphoria), its the little things...
