I think that the council did the right thing, because the majority wants the fresh meat. In terms of Emilie, she overreacted to the situation by making a threat to the council, and locking herself up in the chicken coop. Give props to the people that stayed to watch both chickens getting killed because it's a tough fear to overcome. Overall, great video, just shows how society today really thinks in this age.

you don't need protein from meat, there are many other things to get protein from. i'v been a vegetarian for 4 years and i'm perfectly fine. i'm glad that everyone worked together and tried to get everyone to agree on one thing though. but for everyone who keeps being stubborn about people not wanting to harm animals, you just need to respect different opinions, whether they are right or wrong.
