  • I just got the naga yesterday. Love it

  • It's a shame the only thing we lefties get is the death adder. I'm sick of training myself for right handed mouses all the time.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR damn that sucks, good to know the standard naga is well built though

  • aw the logo doesnt light up :(

  • how long have you had your Naga (Standard not Epic) i recently bought the Standard Naga and i'm curious how well they stand the test of time. I love my Razer products but i've heard issues of soft clicking( left click very loose after time). Also anyone else in comments who has had their for a while, hows it standing up?

  • @ChickenKrispy

One thumb grid button, one of the two additional buttons broke. And both of the right click and left click broke. The epic is falling apart, my normal naga though is still hanging in there after two years. Epic only one year.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR So is the Epic not worth it then? Since it feel apart for quickly or do you think you might thrown it one to many times? XD seriously though do you regret the purchase?

  • @Hawks282

No, i didnt throw it( i take my rage out on my keyboard, the razer lycosa is a big piece of shit). I definitely traveled with it alot and i guess while it was on the plane thrashing around inside a bag it could of been damaged, but still I feel the parts are much cheaper. (the scroll wheel mainly)

the epic does a good job at being a wireless mouse, but if your not dependent on wireless, the naga is infinity better than the epic

  • Just got mine in the other day and it is indeed epic. the num pad takes some getting used to but once you have adapted to it, it is amazing. i don't play MMOs like it is suggested to be used for, but it great for minecraft and especially RTSs. I can imagine it would be for FPSs but i cannot say for sure as my shooters are all console-bound.

  • Thank you for this review. Helped me a whole lot.

  • Out of curiosity do the naga series have a dual scroll mode for the scroll-wheel? I have a logitech g9x and like the free scrolling for MMOs and like the click to click option for FPS.

  • @honitsten

Not 100% sure on what you mean but..

Do you mean the tilting scroll wheel?

The Naga scroll wheel has click ability if that's what you mean, but it does not tilt like the logitech

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR When you spin the wheel you can feel clicks in the wheel mechanism. On a webpage for instance you can scroll two clicks up the page or two down. On mine you can turn it off so the mouse wheel spins freely. I like that in MMOs so I can flick wheel and let it zoom in or out while I start to do something else.

  • @honitsten

oh you mean adjustable resistance on the scroll wheel? no naga doesn't have that.

  • 1:20 you didn't click the battery all the way in.

  • Hi, Im using Naga Epic. During wireless set up, my mouse had lights. During wired, no lights on my mouse. How do i set up lights even when wired? Any problem?

  • @nstarbaby

Check out the Razer naga epic software, thats where you adjust your colors/keybinds, on your main profile go to lighting and power and adjust it where it says power management.

This is where you set up your mouses settings when you make it wireless. Hope this helps :D

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR hey what would you recomend this or the naga hex? ty :)

  • @xNANNA9

Depends if you need all 17 of the nagas buttons or not.

The hex has a cool concept and looks pretty awesome, but if you think the 11 buttons are not enough get the original naga

  • day: razer mouses looks a little "not good"

    night: razer mouses looks FANTASTIC!!

  • Why cant I run wireless without having the connector and the cable plugged into the computer? I use the naga epic wireless but it seems to need the connector thing and the cable plugged into the computer, how can i remove them?

  • @DamaroGaming

You mean the stand? the thing you need to have wireless?

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR yea, but I've figured out that u always need to have the stand plugged in, which gets me pissed but watever.

  • @DamaroGaming the dock is your wireless hub.

  • i have the molten. love it. the logo is awesome too :)

  • i have the molten. i love it

  • 22 people have a razer abyssus. Oh shit i forgot i have one :(

  • What mouse pad do you got?

  • Amazon Canada has the epic for $80 so I picked it up to replace the original Naga I bought a week before for the same price. I think I'll miss the light up logo haha.

  • @FullmetalJudgement

holy shit thats a good deal, fuck the logo. you cant even see it when your hands on the mouse so...

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR the logo on my deathadder gets covered up by a hat every night if i leave my pc on. i think you can manually turn off the lights in software with the naga epic and the other high end wireless one they do

  • @BOMBhollywood Not sure whether you've always been able to or they updated the DeathAdder software, but there are light options for the DeathAdder in the bottom right of the software for it. It'll let you turn on/off the logo and set pulsate or solid light.

  • @FullmetalJudgement yeah, same with me, was going to just get the Naga, not the epic, until I saw that deal on amazon.ca hehehe waiting for it to ship :)

  • Got it and its awesome

  • Thanks man that just made my decision!

  • Just got razor naga epic for christmas. Its pretty awesome so far. we will see how to does over time

  • how do i change the colour on the mouse i dont wanna play with a fking pink mouse -.-

  • The grip/size is a good selling point tho. It makes a difference and helps your grip.

  • I have had the regular for 2 years almost NO PROBLEMS until about a month ago.. it started not wanting to move also the mouse wheel collapsed soon after..saying that, i also have to say i used this mouse hardcore for those 2 years and it went through a ton of abuse very durable nothing bad to say about it .. if you play wow and are finding you dont have enough keybinds GET THIS MOUSE! IF YOU DO NOT NEED WIRELESS GET THE ORIGINAL!... I am ordering another as i type.

  • i prefer imperator 4g and mamba

  • nice review

  • U SOUND BORED BRO AND THAT UPSETS ME

    P.S. I LIKE PENIS

  • Comment removed

  • @Xirus5

You still have to take the mouses dock with you...Seems like a pain for the laptop

  • great video jst 2 things:

    fix aspect ratio

    u sound bored

but overall thanks for a helpful video!

  • Thanks this helped me make my decaion.

  • naga or naga epic ??? :/

  • @gate1APOLLONgate1

    Naga

    Save your money.

Even after like two years........I like my naga original more than the epic

My epics mouse wheel decal fell off and its really been bothering me, the mouse works fine but its slowly falling apart

If your gonna buy a razer mouse get the original one! Save 40$

  • looks great i need a new phone

  • Comment removed

  • how is the buttons on the left side annoying, because i play games wher ei dont exactly need those buttons

  • Death Adder is good and cheap ;)

  • RAZER NAGA, NAGA EPIC OR MAMBA 2012 WHICH SHOULD I GET????????

  • @roflsteaksauce

Mamba? That should be like 70$ for real.

If your gonna buy a razer mouse get a naga.

Even if you got money..be real

Are you gonna spend an extra 50$ just for wireless and the ability to change colors?

    The Naga original is best.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR yeah the RAZER MAMBA 2012 edition which cost the same as the naga epic

  • @roflsteaksauce

    Totally not worth it imo.

Nagas good for everything mmos, fps, rts w/e

Mamba looks nice..i guess thats the only thing going for it..not worth 129.99

I wouldnt buy a mamba even for 90$

  • Naga = Best mouse.

  • my brother got this mouse and when he wasnt looking i started to use it i instanly fell in love but i really dont need a mmo mouse is it worth buying because its comfortable? btw i do play video games on pc but not mmo's

  • @HJT069

I don't even play mmos anymore and I still prefer this mouse over anything else. 70$ naga is better than the 120$ mamba

If you feel that you want to pay 70$ for a mouse, go ahead. This is Razers best product.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR thanks for your reply i will order it as soon as i can

  • Great video, do you have any problems with your mouse disconnecting in wireless mode?

My Naga Epic frequently (once or twice everyday) disconnects itself in wireless mode. I have to switch between wired/wireless a few times and re-plug the USB dock to get it to work again. Just wanna know if it's a common problem or I have a faulty mouse. TIA!

  • @Zand3ros

Well I can't honestly answer that since I very rarely use wireless mode.

But from what I've seen, it doesn't disconnect often.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR Ah, okay. Thanks for your reply!

  • @Zand3ros

mine works great without any disconnect!

maybe its because ive got the new model :)

  • @Katalist1 Thanks for your input! I guess it's just me, I'll send it for RMA soon and hopefully the problems will be gone.

  • @Zand3ros Mine is doing the same.

  • it is exactly the same as the Razer Naga Molten Special Edition. it is just wireless and it can change color.....

  • Hi Man Thanks For The Review

But i am curious if I used it wireless will the dpi Drop Down because this Mice has a very high Technology

5600dpi Razer Precision 3.5G Laser Sensor

    1000Hz Ultrapolling™ / 1ms response time

So will there be a Difference in Performans ??

And The second thing dose the battery charge with the USB cable or i need To put it in The Dock every Time ??

    Thanks

  • @QTR1008

No, it keeps its dpi and ultra polling.

I mean personally,I don't buy into all the razer specs and all that bull shit.

It's a great mouse and as an owner I don't see the difference between wired and wireless.

And yes the battery does charge when you plug it in with the USB, you don't have to put it on the dock.

  • Is the Epic exactly the same size as the normal one?

  • @lasermac83

I think the epics a bit wider, and has a larger height in the back due to the battery.

  • I loved my Naga Epic until it just cold stone stopped working after 4 weeks of moderate use! After lots of googling, I see that it's a common problem. How crappy to have to stop using a $100+ mouse and having to go back to a trusty 4-year-old $10 mouse for WoW!

  • @arclight2012

    I know what you mean.

But thats technology for you. Invest into a bad ass computer, a couple years later that shit dies.

But my shitty ass laptop w/ 512 mb of ram still working. (6 years old?)

  • Awesome review :). Question, is gaming annoying with the wire? I know a lot of gamers prefer a wired mouse but I haven't ever played games with a wired one so I don't know. I've only worked with stock PC mice and the cords seemed to be in the way a lot, but they also weren't 7 feet long.

  • @SaintsnotSinners well you can just let the cord hang, and it wont snag on anything really, since its braided.

depends how you set your mouse up, I don't have a problem with it :)

  • After quitting WoW i feel stupid buying the epic. Any suggestions on what to use to 12 buttons on now lol

  • @ThemisGaming

    I quit wow too actually.

    USe it for anything man.

I use it for other rpgs. Simple things like bind my hot bar from 5-10 on my naga.

I also use it for shooters. Switch weapons, melee and depending on the game zoom in or crouch.

It all depends on what game your playing and what keys you don't have time to learn...this mouse is for lazy people that don't wanna learn new keybinds. :D

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR yea the only thing i actually use is 1-3 for shooters 1 being knife 2 being crouch and 3 being aim down. I really only play cod, css, and dods. Really need to start getting some new rpgs :p

  • @ThemisGaming

Well skyrim is comming out soon man.

I'll be reviewing a lot more games, especially rpgs

This channel will be devoted to it.

  • Hey man, will this mouse run in wired mode without the battery in it?

  • @lasermac83

    Yup!

    Tried it right now :P

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR Awesome! I'll be getting one of these soon, thanks!

  • If money wasn't an issue, which one would you prefer?

  • @TheFeralHuntard

If money wasn't an issue..well damn that's tough, I'd still wanna go with the original...

But see it this way... Would you really wanna spend an extra 50$ to change the color of the mouse?

Would you spend an extra $50 for the wireless function?

Do you like the button placement on the two different mouses?

An extra 50$ is nice to have around, make your choice :P

I'll remake this review one day to help you guys choose which one you want.

  • OH DEAR NIGGERS WATCHING THIS WAS LIKE SLEEPING WITH AT LEAST 14 SMALL RODENTS ALL HORNY FOR YOUR AMAZING BODY. I CAME AT LEAST A QUART OF MANK. OH GOD PIOTR OH GOD I SPLOOGED ALL OVER YOUR RAZAER NAGA.

  • son of a bitch site doesnt have razor naga molten or the razor naga.... so i have t buy razor naga epic :/

  • @DRPREPER

They do...its just part of razers marketing..

they want their items to have an "exclusive" feel thats also why everything is more expensive than in normal stores.

    Check out Newegg . com

    Normal: razer: 79.99 newegg: 69.99

    Molten: Razer 79.99 newegg:71.99

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR awesome dude!! thanks. is that the site you use?

  • @DRPREPER

Yes, I just use the Canadian version (newegg . ca)

I also use tigerdirect . com

If your gonna buy anything computer related, check BOTH these sites to see which one is cheaper.

    Thanks for watching :)

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR You just made my life so much easier. subbed :)

  • @DRPREPER

    Thanks <3

  • @DRPREPER

    Thanks <3

  • I bought the orginal and I'm using it. I like it so far except that I find that the 2 side buttons for me are almost unusable, it's in a bad spot for my hand/grip type. Considering the epic!

  • @0pp0se7 I have the Standard Naga. and i've used my thoughs 2 front buttons on the left side on the top next to LMB. Ive used the front one for Double Click and the back one for going back on a webpage or what ever.

  • @Tippeefewt

I binded front one to ~

and the bottom one to alt :D

  • Subscribed. This was a really good video, and helped me decide what to get.

  • great review, you really had me because i thought you were going to say how great the new one is, but then at the end you decided to tell people to go with the cheaper but equally good version... no doubt the naga epic is more stylish and for show. great review.

  • @TehRealZERO

    Thank you.

    :)

  • Thanks for the video, you didn't beat around the bush or anything, straight to the point and very informative. thumbs up

  • @FireKnight43

    Thanks man,

one thing I hate about reviewers is when they talk too much..

I'll save that for commentary's. XD

  • He Sounds Like Traveler . :o

  • @EnconSoulReaper

    err..thanks?

    D:

  • I seriously friggin dreamed that I had this

  • cant you play with the cord so u dont need to recharge?

  • @darkheat246

    Thats what I do :)

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR Do you know if the HIS IceQ 6970 turbo will fit in the ThermalTake Spedo case?

  • @darkheat246

    I don't see why a "full tower" wouldn't fit a 6970 :)

I did some research and a 10.5" card will fit into a thermaltake Spedo

The 6970 is 10.6" so it should be good to go.

I think the Spedo is a cool looking case, but its pretty expensive and is mostly plastic.

If I was you I would look into a Coolermaster Haf but that's up to you.

    Hope this helped :D

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR Thank you so much! When I was looking at 3DGamerman he said it was 11 inches so that worried me. My next build will involve the Thermaltake level 10 the full metal one. Using the LGA 2011 or a AMD board. Looking at the stock clocks for both and the over clocking on both the bulldozer and the new intel CPU's to come out; the bulldozer seems to have a higher clock speed then intel when not over clocked and when it is over clocked; I'm still deciding what next new mobo and CPU.

  • @darkheat246

Thats great! I'm working on a new computer right now :P

Im going for a intel build.

    Sandybridge core i7 @ 3.4ghz- 300$

If you need any help, Id be happy to assist. Just give me your price point.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR I got everything covered just waiting for the darn VGA to come out of back order. Lucky you chose sandybridge because the LGA 2011 replaces 1366 socket based Mobos. When I do another build I'll venture towards the bulldozer the stock and over clock speeds are mind blowing compared to the LGA2011 but that new socket trades power for support. You could stick you're 1155 CPU in that socket; overall intel is over priced sometimes but eventually they come up with something good.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR your cpu is that the 2600k version? Also for cooling I'm using the Corsair H100 when it comes Wednesday. Don't really need to cool the card it's load temp is I believe 70~77 and that's in a case with the components exposed. In the speed each section is separated so heat from one doesn't hit another; that added along with the fan I'll mount on the slide bracket will keep it well and cooled.

  • @darkheat246

The computer in the video is an i5, and no, im getting the standard i7 2600.

    I don't need to overclock! :D

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR As soon as you get the sandy bridge save up, the next Mobo the LGA 2011 will replace 1366 and 2011 is compatible with 2011 cpu's and 1155 cpu's

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR Case wise Idk if the spedo can fit the maximus p67 by asus

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR If you play with the cord why didn't you just get the regular naga? :o

  • @Ryan0Ebbers

My regular naga broke so I decided to try the newer version to see how it is.

Only thing I can say that I like is the button placement of the two top buttons, otherwise same shit.

A lot more features, but thats the only one I care about.

  • Have orderd o molten edition naga I wander wat it's going to be like to learn all of the buttons

  • @N0mind3r

Took me about 2 days of playing to fully memorize all the buttons.

  • Mamba or naga epic?

  • @VaiographyCA naga

  • is this better that the rat 9?

  • i cant decide razer naga or razer naga epic?

  • Comment removed

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR I know that it will cycle through the different colors of light, but can you set it to one specific color? I'm thinking about ordering one, but I have this red light theme going on with my gaming rig, so I want a mouse that will light up red.

  • I cant decide between the razer mamba or the molten core naga, could somone please tell me witch one is better, currenly i am aiming for a molten core, but i have a weird feeling i might want a mamba afterwards.

    Thank you!

  • @ZaNgerB0y22

I've been thinking and to be honest..every mouse razer has put out is bad compared to the naga.

This mouse is intended for mmo-rpgs, but reguardless of what you play I'm sure you can put the naga into play.

Something like minecraft, you can bind items on the 1-10 row to something on your mouse or bind weapon swaps in counter strike, what ever you can think of will work.

  • @ZaNgerB0y22 molten core. its same price looks cool and does more

  • 130 euro for that shit....

  • Thanks a ton for this review. I just got the Razer Naga Epic from Best Buy because of the numpad on the side, though I honestly don't like wireless mice and am now goign to return the Epic and order the regular version online. Thanks again for saving me 50 bucks!

  • @PwnageFoU

    Great to know :D

  • Good vid

  • looks like thenaga epic more smaller than the normal naga haha xD

  • Sick video!!! Your review helped me decide to replace my Razer Mamba and cancel my order for an Alienware tactx mouse. Thank you!!!

  • @skygunner27

    Great to know :D

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR Very helpful, I couldn't decide which misc I wanted but with the review I just choose the Molten Edition, Keep'em coming, do a review on the Naga. Thanks.

  • @skygunner27 i saw your new m18x setup with this mouse on notebook review and it looks great man

  • @austinXDFtw Thanks!! I really enjoy this mouse combined with my G13 & M18x.

  • hey man nice review

  • Hey, great vid. Can you give me a bit of info. on how the Naga fares on Razer Goliathus? Thanks in advance, keep it comin' :)

  • @Hunterbgpz

I love the goliathus mouse pad. Out of all of the mouse pads (even the razer ones) get this one.

Its giant, the material is good and you can roll it up and store it anywhere and it won't bend.

    I highly recommend it.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR

Yes, I've disliked hard surface pads through time, because they wear off really fast. The other thing, which made me lean towards the Goliathus was the fact that it can bend a lot, which you've mentioned, as well as the great rubber back. There's only 1 thing, though, I've heard that the Naga's sensor has problems with dark surfaces, such as the Goliathus for instance? Thank you for the fast reply, I really appreciate it.

PS: One last thing, any difference in Naga and Molten Ed?

  • @Hunterbgpz

I have not had any problems, with either of my naga, on the goliathus mouse pad.

As for the Naga vs Molten edition, Its the exact same mouse, the molten just glows red, and it has a cool design on it.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR

Thank you, I have ordered my products and can't wait :D:D

  • do NOT buy a naga epic, unless you don't care about negative DPI mice. Crazy bad sensitivity, unplayable. No precision at all in any movements, on any adjustments for me (with or without drivers/firmwares). I've been trying to fix this for over a month, to end up buying an imperator.

  • People say they'd like the two buttons behind the scroller wheel back on the left, I'd actually like them on the right. xD

  • The Mamba uses two lasers, the Naga only uses one.

  • it looks like the epic is shorter then the molten/original... is that true?

  • @tobbetobbebobbob

    Don't belive so..

  • @tobbetobbebobbob Yeah i htink so too wow

  • I would like the epic with the two buttons ontop, back where they was on the normal naga, would be the unltimate mouse.

  • Thanks for this review. it helped alot. I am debating on getting the epic. I have had the naga for about 2 years now and i love it. The mouse feels like an extension of my hand. The one thing that looks shitty about the epic are the 2 top and bottom macro buttons on the left click. I like them being there and for a mage like i, it is important to be there because it is my blink and mount keys.

  • is the naga better than the mamba

  • @UnboxingMaster100

    I'd definitly say so.

Nagas pretty much a mamba with 10 more buttons :P

  • @UnboxingMaster100 i have both they are both great, but for different games lol naga is better for wow, mamba is better for fps obviously.

  • @elarius0

    Its all about preference.

I've actually put the naga to good use when playing battle field/TF2

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR I'd put in a voucher for that. The Mamba has no advantage other than onboard memory, which is only important if you're running to other people's houses to play games. I used the Naga 1 primarily for FPS play, including counterstrike. Having the numpad on the mouse made buying weapons and switching to them totally effortless and didn't require moving my hands at all.

  • The logo doesnt light up? da fuck why?

  • @XxXBloodshotXxX

They couldn't get the logo to glow because of the battery.

  • i checked out saintempire channel, but the song you use is not there.

could you give a youtube link or name or something?

    edit: Saint Empire - Westword

  • @delay2k

Yea saint empires doing a lot of different shit these days, so he took em down.

I couldn't find it on reverbnation . com but I may upload it on my channel with his permission.

  • @RRtoiPPiotRR

Its back up on his channel.

  • I have ordered this :D :D

  • Is it big compared to the Razer Orochi? It should be a bit bigger according to the site but I want to know from a users point of view.

  • @cautionsniper

The Razer Orochi is slightly smaller then the Naga, but its very insignificant. It all depends what you play. The nagas good for everything but shines in MMOs. If you dont play MMOs im sure the Orochi will do fine.

    Measurements:

    The Razer Orochi 99(L) x 67.8(W) x 35(H) (in mm)

    The Razer Naga 116L x 77W x 41H (in mm)

  • but will it blend?

  • steelseries sucks ass this looks awesome
