When Bulgarians came back to the Balkans they were much more than the slavs. Bulgarians said "we're mostly slavs" so Russians will be more willing to help us push out the turks. May be it was 60:40 or 70:30, idk. It's hard to say really. And it's true there are no "pure" slavs anymore. All of us have mixed genes from different tribes.
