Start-up was not changed on Evil Ryu's sweep. It remains 7 frames, compared to Akuma's 6 frames. Evil Ryu has always been able to sweep after LK Tatsu, against Cammy specifically (along with Rose, Boxer, Dhalsim, and Dee Jay), since AE 2011.

According to the change log, the only things to change about sweep were its damage (from 90 to 100), and it's active frames (from 2 to 3).

@dRphy Ic ic. I think it was the arcade version of 2012 that had his sweep buffed and they renerfed it for the console.

@TheLeftHandedMonkey No, the change from 7 to 6 frame start up for sweep was alpha build exclusive. It returned to 7 frame start up from beta build onwards, which effectively means that it is currently 7 frames regardless of whether it is arcade or console.

Liking the changes to e ryu this time around. Only thing i want to comment on in the vid is that they actually changed his sweep back from the buffed 6 frames to the 7 in was in AE so its unchanged. Tatsu sweep worked already on a few of the cast for him namely the ones who fell slower such as Cammy and Sim. Was wanting that one to stick but i guess Capcom thought e ryu would be too good if he could tatsu sweep everyone akuma could
