@MarioSims1 Thanks for watching! the song is called (sorry if I spell it wrong) Chante C'est Noel. It is from Disneyland Paris used throughout theire Christmas parade and also used throughout the park as a holiday soundtrack in various different versions. Not certain if they still use it but it was heard quite a bit on my trip there in 2004. Title of song is sung in French and most of lyrics are in English. Loosely translated ( I don't speak French) it means to sing and dance for Christmas.
I mentioned this last year when I found your video; your Disney main street and park Christmas display is wonderful. I love watching it now every year because it inspires me to create my very own "Disney" Christmas village one day.
I have been collecting some of the buildings to make "Main Street". I really love the ones you used and they all do not look like they are Dept 56.
Off to build my "Fall" New England Coast village... thanks again!!
This is beautiful! And what's more important - it is a rather ingenious layout, which makes it all the more exciting and festive. I'm responding with a vid of our Christmas village from a few weeks ago - would love to hear your tips & ideas on that. Hope you're also lining up a new 2010 Christmas village video yourself! :)
Hi, I just am "in love" with this video and your "Disneyland" village park!! I was wondering if you could tell me which pieces of lighted houses are they in 1:42 and is that Walt Disney holding Mickeys hand Statue in minature? on 1:53? - where does someone even look for that? what is the building at 1:57? The ones from 2:00 to 2:06? At 2:34 that is the train station with the "Mickey lawn" in front is that Dept 56 Disney series ? It is definitely the most amazing Disney dispay ever!! Thanks!
@6751mmk Thank for watching, I'm glad you liked it so much! That is indeed a replica of the Partners statue of Walt and Mickey holding hands. It was purchased at Disney World's Christmas shop in Downtown Disney, actually it was an just an ornament, that i just removed the hanger from. 1:42 is Casey Corner,(which technically is supposed to be across the street but wouldn't work out due to space) 1:57 Is the Emporium 2:00-2:06 is City Hall on the left and Fire House on right. They are not D56

Neat!! My boss has some Department 56 buildings at his store that he would like to get rid of at half-price. If anyone wants a list, please send me a message.
Very Nice!! How did you set up the fireworks? I've been looking to use fiberoptics for FWs for a Looooooong time on my disney display, and would love to know where you got them/how you made them!
@Horizons5556 the firework are really in two parts one is an accessory from Department 56 but is now a retired piece (item # 56.52727). The other one is an inexpensive fiber optic lamp that can be found at places like Spencer's Gifts. I created the effect by mounting it sideways into a styrofoam base under the castle and pushing the fiber optic strands agains the background causing it to fan out.
Wonderful village! I really enjoy watching these videos and I always get ideas from watching others. I finally added a few videos of my village this year. I have been displaying them since 2004 but have never posted a video until now. God Bless and thanks for the great video!
You should see my me me's, Hundred times better. She has had years to build it. It is just the most amazing one ever! I will make a video soon of it so check it out near christmas!
ok i do want to be the first to say you just made me home sick, but really excellent job. I used to work in Main Street U.S.A. so kudos, kudos, my god that is just amazing. thank you
