Ah man..every time I see that Earth..reminds me of the first time I played this map and game. Definitely the best FPS of all time. I love everything about UT99..the graphics, the soundtrack, the gameplay, the flexibility, EVERYTHING. :D

Press tab or ~ and type in: summon supershockrifle.

Type: fly

so you can put it in a spot where nobody else can get it. It's how I beat Xan.

You know what I find hilarious. This game has better cosmo graphics than that of Call of Duty Black Ops. The Earth actually looks like the Earth in this game! ..I miss the good ol days of UT ;_;

I can't them working properly here. Only the skyboxes are displayed properly, but the rest is missing, though I've checked and retried 3 times now. :\

A bit of help, I can't get UT to play. I set it to Direct3d or whatever it said in the readme, but the problem is that it won't play the game. How do i set the s3tc textures thing to True?

I remember actually taking a moment and watching the planet drift by, then I realized. Well... it's not so much the planet above me as me being above the planet... so I'm fighting upside down... and jumping around like a maniac... all upside down. It made me feel a bit nauseous thinking about it like that.

When I enable d3d9 render, i got problems with skyboxes. Masked textures dont work as masked textures anymore, they stay black XD ( in Archane temple and Cure for example.) anyone know how to fix this :P ?

I downloaded the latest d3d9 and opengl driver. I also downloaded and overwrote all the utx files.

How do I know which utx file represents which map ? I dont really see a difference using either the new opengl or d3d9 ....

please help

@concujak in game go to options->advanced options->rendering->direct3d9 support or opengl support depending on which renderer you use and change UseS3TC to true, you may need to restart the game afterwards
