  • Hi Craig,

Its been awhile, sometimes vids do not play for me.

This is superb, seen this movie when it came out, great performances!

    All my best,

    Lady E --[--@

  • I've never seen the film. The video is well done and the song gives it a very gritty feel. Great job as always.

  • Thanks Craig ..strong creation ..It was a heartbreaking movie for me ...♥

  • @opensecret51 thank you Masha!

  • wowwwwwww speciale

  • @1theVERYbest thank you!

  • I mean lightweight (not lightseight, of course) (and I am not drunk). LOL.

  • I love this movie, and all the talent in it!!

  • @SurferDude531 thank you my Friend!

  • Good work my friend...as always you capture the soul and we get it all in a few Wonderful minutes and save the price of admission... Blessings for the gifts ...Always Sirtony

  • @SIRTONY than you so much Sirtony!

  • @ForCarolToEnjoy lol..it is hard to keep up on the whole Awards thing, I know!..thank you again Dear Cathy!

  • Craig, I become crazy!! lol But you know that I admire you! I always wonder how does this guy find the right music! "Sober" I had never heard before and it is wonderful for this film! Nicolas Cage and Elizabeth Shue superb! Beautiful job!

  • @TheBigValley "Sober" was a song I have known and loved for awhile, when I first started doing this video, I was using Sheryl Crow's" Leaving Las Vegas", but it wasn't working for me, so I thought of Butch Walker, thank you so much Mirko!

  • Very beautiful, Craig!!

  • @70puck thank you Monica!

  • Great tribute

  • @AdemPresley thank you Adem!

  • Wow, I never knew it was semi based on a true story! Such a brilliant film, funny and sad.

Great tribute man :). Oh, I saw a great film yesterday, was wondering if you've heard of it, called "confessions of a dangerous mind", was amazing, i highly recommend it :)

  • @TheBawbag88 ahh yes Charlie Kaufman's film about Chuck Barris, I did a video for it a long time ago on my other channel, love that movie!

  • @gloheart1 thank you Gloria!

  • John O'Brien (who wrote about the role played by Cage - a man who decides to commit suicide drinking until death) really committed suicide when the movie started.

One I decided to find my death while drinking, but I had to give up my plan on the second glass (I am weak for alcohol. Two glasses of anything and the only thing I can get in a terrible hangover)

  • @christopher242424 thanks Chris, ir is a good thing you are a lightweight!

  • @MADWORLD1427 LOL. Lightseight isn all senses. To remain on my 70 kilos is almost a torture. Once they wanted me to gain two more kilos and there was not a chance to do it.

  • Wow. Well done. Your video brought me right back to the sense of loss I felt while watching LLV. I especially liked your abrupt ending, which mirrored the tragic life of Cage's character. Heartbreaking film. Terrific video. =)

  • @mrshiggs1 thank you, glad you noticed the abrupt ending!

  • "Sober." Appropriate choice of song for this movie. Honestly, I can't bring myself to see the whole movie because it's just so sad to watch Nicolas Cage's character drink himself to death and I wasn't really drawn by the damaged romance between him and Elizabeth Shue's character.

  • @suncore598 it really is Nic Cage's best performance, but yeah it is not a sunshine type of movie..lol

  • I will need some time to see this video. My heart is still aching with the previous video, and I can't concentrate on this right now.

  • .really .. loved ;)))

  • @DRICAHOFF thank you so much!

  • Nicholas Cage has made a few motion pictures worth watching, and this is one of them!!

  • @MAGICKMINSTREL718 thank you Stuart

  • I love this movie it's hopeless it's sad, yet these two people find each other in a seemingly rock bottom world were they were all each other had. Thank you so much for uploading this heartbreaking yet wonderful film tribute.

  • @oasisnl thank you so much my Friend!

  • This movie is absolutely awesome!!.

  • ...really nice montage....back when Nicholas Cage chose great roles, not like now....

  • @SleepWhenIamDead agreed, wish he would go back to doing that!

  • To me, I will always think of this movie when I hear this song, and vis-versa.

Awesome Video, One of your Best.

  • @TheDiAFilms wow thanks for that man, it is a pretty obscure song, so I am glad people are getting to hear it!

  • Absolutely a great video with film clips of dramatic, frightening and fascinating scenes.

Because the romantic drama based on an autobiography of an alcoholic,

plays Nicolas Cage impressive and credible his role.

Your chosen song "Sober" by Butch Walke fits fantastic and I congratulate you on your awesome tribute! .ღIngridƸӜƷ

  • @butterflyingrid thank you Ingrid, such a joy to hear from you again!

  • "as I got sober I watched you fade away." Again...the perfect song choice, Craig, for this excellent tribute to a dark but intriging film....Some of Nicolas Cages best work...imo

  • @PlayForMeASymphony thank you Carol, I think it is Nic Cage's best performance hands down!,,,btw glad you liked the song, Butch Walker is such an underrated singer songwriter, I always enjoy when I can use one of his songs in a montage!

  • thumbs up

  • Nicolas Cage, totally deserved the Oscar, for this Perfomance!

  • @StelyDn yes he did, I wish he would go back to doing work like this!

  • @MADWORLD1427 I agree...

  • great video

  • @SilentJoe13 thank you Joe!

  • Elizabeth Shue was so hot in this!, like the song too!

  • @devitorules2 yes she was, thank you!

  • Thank you

  • @MusicFreedom1 thank you!

  • ♥ .

  • @MrMLD72MLD thanks Michael-Louis!
