hey man awesome truck. did you notice any powergains after puttin on the longtubes? i have a 06f150 and my warranty is just about up and i cant decide if buyin longtubes would be worth it?
@0645jmt wow thanks for acutally replying i wasnt expecting that haha, sweet i'll keep that in mind dude and i'll go ahead and say it again. awesome truck!
Yeah I agree with the other guys that 4.56s is overkill for a 33" buckshot and as for the title of the video that is extremely wrong the truck does not have straight pipes if your runnin cherry bomb mufflers but as for the sound of the truck it sounds pretty good. I like the cherry bombs and I have a set of them on my 68 Bronco!
4.56 gears an only 33's....come on thats over kill, i have a 2001 ford F150 super crew 5.4L with stock 3.55's an 33's an it spins them like nothin in the mud, now 4.10's an 33's is a good combo to run, but if your runnin 4.56's you better be runnin 37's or bigger cause 4.10s is enough gearin for 35's if your runnin the 5.4
@0645jmt.... the new trucks are same weight if not lighter cause they have aluminum parts an fibre class body paneling.....an like i said 4.56's is a waste, your truck is gonna be screamin goin down the highway at 100km/h, an pull a trailer 4.10s are lots of gearin for pullin a trailer, i can pull a trailer with 3.55 gears an have lots of power to pass ppl an for hills too, everyone has different ways to do their truck
no offense, but check your facts. its well known the newer trucks are heavier and don't have fiberglass body panels, its all steel... 6250lbs worth. 4.56's are perfect for my needs and i still get good milage too. but to each his own ;)
Sounds pretty decent. Not really striaghts if it has mufflers, but thats good, no mufflers is awful. 4.56s with only 33s? Hell man i'd get 35s on her for that gearing, plus a lift! Would be awesome
@0645jmt well i knew from stock it was a ton lol i gues i shoulda ask if u got the headers at the time of all the exhaust because i have true duels with no mufflers but i was just wondering how the headers were vs stock headers sound wise
Those headers must make ALOT of difference in sound lol i have the same setup on my 02 and it's nowhere near as loud.

@TheKruptedAmoeba
noticable difference, but with longtubes you have to get a custom tune. i used PHPtune.com, bill's tunes are awesome. VERY worth it.

@lmfscrew as CATZ said, no cats. going from old exhaust (single 3"cat-back) to this is like goin from a beat up pinto to a ferrari :)

@lmfscrew gotcha, headers were done after exhaust. they made it have a deeper throatier sound. AND ALOT LOUDER!
