Thank you for telling me about Helen Kane; I'd never really given the matter much thought when making the remark about Betty Boop, but I see I was being somewhat unfair, so I will try to correct my description a little!
I like to joke sometimes that I don't play anything unless it's at least 20 years old. ;-) There's a lot of popular music from early last century that I like. :-)
