I never once said that slaughterhouses were ok. I am vegan and against all animal exploitation. Everyone seems to love pointing out that i'm not everywhere else in the world solving all of the problems. How can you expect me to be tackling everything? If you have a problem with an exploitation happening, do something abourt it. I'm doing all I can.

How about killing 500 thousands dolphins by round haul net fishing every year in 1970`s in the coast of USA? How about slaughtering 3700000 kangaroos every year in Australia even now? These are wild animals.
Please explain the defference between dolphins and animals in slaughterhouse. You think, Slaghterhouse is OK, but dolphins are not. We can not understand this issue absolutely. We think this is just completely hypocrite.

@chrysan6128 The slaughtering of dolphins and the "slaughtering" of Kangaroos in Australia are vastly different. The Kangaroos in Australia have no natural predators and grow to be 7ft or larger. This not only threatens other wildlife but kills people as well. Differences between dolphins and animals in slaughterhouses is easy. 1) No mercury 2) Cows are not intelligent at all. 3) We breed and raise livestock and they are killed quickly and without pain. Think about it!!

Endangered dolphins and porpoises are Yangtze river dolphin (or it might have been extinct), Indus and Ganges river dolphins, Hector's dolphin (lives exclusively around New Zealand), and Vaquita (lives only in the end of the Gulf of California). Not a single animal in these species inhabits around Japan in the first place.

The dolphin molesters in Taiji are a cruel, sad lot. They deserve nothing from us, least of all respect.
We are against every nation in the world that exploits animals, land or ocean mammals.
I didn't decide that dolphins are superior to any animal. You wrongly assumed that.
Taiji is home to 26 dolphin molesting thugs and we'll fight to the end to free the dolphins that they murder, enslave, and exploit.

They always claim not to be, however, nearly all their action (in whaling) is directed against Japan.
There was some spare action on the Faroe Islands but that is nothing to speak of.
Dolphins are not endangered so there is no reason for not eating them.

@cherry6224 Scientist that study the behavior of mammals decide that dolphins are smarter than animals in slaughterhouses. Have you ever seen someone use sign language to a cow, pig, or chicken and they do a backflip through a ring and catch a ball in their mouth? Dolphins shouldn't be eaten because they are toxic and consuming their meat creates backwards thinking people such as yourself. Same reason why they don't form hats in vats of mercury anymore!

People in Taiji have been hunting for more than 400yeras. Dolphins are Not extinct. Not endangered. Dolphin-hunting inTaiji is going on under permission and very strict control. They realize sustainable fishing. This is the tradition in taiji.
She imposes her belief about food upon people in Taiji. Who has the right to impose one belief upon others? She is too arrogant and too impolite to understand other culture.
