  • As someone who has heard a lot of Lee Morgan, but not too much Clifford, I can find here some origins of Lee's solo licks.

  • that solo break from clifford is just genius

  • @sherman9009 every solo break from Clifford was genius

  • @xlfutur1 agreed

  • This is what I call great solos on this track, I wore out this album three times and now I have the CD

    in my car.

  • My favorite Clifford solo....no doubt.

  • It sad that Clifford Brown left us so early in life. He was great jazz artist.

  • 今日は、クリフォード・ブラウン(Clifford Brown)のお誕生日。1930年10月30日生まれ。

  • Richie was becoming a better piano player with band, He also did most of the arrangements for the quintet.

  • Harold Land is in ten.sax

  • この輝かしいジャズが一瞬に!!~クリフォードの死をどうやっって乗り越えたのか?~正確なリズム、ビートを刻む巨人マックス・ローチ #jazzm GREAT!

  • Is that Harold Land on tenor sax?

  • richie powell is on piano

  • who is on the piano?

  • Has always been one of my faves of the Brown-Roach group...they just get into such a sweet, sweet groove. Richie does not get the credit he should...and Morrow was a totally underrated bass player!

  • @teebeesea yep, from richie's perspective there's definitely some drawbacks (as well as obvious advantages) to having BUD POWELL as a brother.

  • @teebeesea Every bass player is an underrated bass player

  • ooooo fawesome i really love max roach
