Hi all, I very much want to ask - when I was a child I heard a versionn of this song which I believed was by 3 Degrees, but I cant seem to find it. Was I wrong to assume it was by 3 Degrees? I still remember the beginning was a full orchestra (with the theme played by an oboe) then changing to a pop band. Cna anyone help me? Thanks from Singapore.

Linda Lewis and Angela Bofill have two different styles of music which shd in no way be compared because they cannot be. They were done in different musical eras and in order to be in tune with the current genres. Therefore we were blessed to have two musical goddesses of their times perform the same song. Be grateful for that. I sure am. I love both versions.

I like Lisa and Annie (Duffy is not in my likeing as her voice is awkward), these ladies with their 2 octaves have nothing on Linda. I like my singers to have RANGE and they lack that. If Linda wasn't a TRUE artiste and had done what her label wanted her to she would've been a great pop star, but unlike these mentioned at least she is well loved and continued to be discovered and sampled BY NEW ARTISTES. Take her listen to her 'Close your Eyes' 2008 song, TIMELESS VOICE!!! I respct. ur po taste!

Okay.....Seetdeh.....I listened to two other songs from her and I got to tell ya, she can't hold a candle to the likes of Bofill, Riperton or Deniece Williams. I will admit to liking "The Moon And I" though. peace.

Goes 2show what I'm up against! U listened to 2other songs and come back saying she can't hold candle to Bofill, Minnie, and Deniece! Well Clive Davis thought differently when he tried his very best to make her stay with his label and Stevie Wonder sought her out just to tell her he loves her music. FYI Linda has 5 OCTAVES just like Minnie, but she can sing low notes comparable to Toni Braxton, so don't be fooled by her sweet girly voice. Also most of her better works are taken off Youtube!
