You mean to tell me that you KEPT the pickups that came with the guitar and didn't change them? If that is the case, you were very fortunate to get such GREAT factory pickups !!

The factory pickups that came on my white 60's Reverse Special really SUCKED!! I had no choice but to change them....to DiMarzio Area 58's....and am much happier for it !
