Keep in mind in space and super fast travelling airships, the telephone signals may not be able to travel as fast as the ship can... Thus wires would make alot more sense in getting your voice heard asap as you can clearly see its an emergency phone for specific reasons like that.

I'm gonna buy this in my PS3 japanese account (don't know jap, but have finished this game 2-3 times in english before :D), sick of waiting to be in US PSN.

If i get lost ill just use this playthrough to get back in story xD

-Oh, btw if i have finally understood the whole freaking story and all the gaps in my mind to connect the whole damn 5 episodes together...I downloaded XENOGEARS Perfect works which explains in a 605 MB, 300+ pages, the story, backstory, characters, the science,everything!

Thanks for posting all these videos,I loved this game. I played xenogears way back on ps1 but never got to finish it because my disc 3 skipped, or something stupid like that... a few years later, i came across the game in my closet, and remembering how great it was, went to buy it again, but by that time it had been discontinued, and i couldnt find it.. i hear its on psn now but i dont have a ps3. At least i can watch it now :) thanks for posting!

I have loved this games since it was released over 10 years ago. Not only was it the greatest RPG of 1998 but is one of the greatest of all time.

Wire-based communication is much more reliable . Wireless communication is used only when necessity dictates so.

No warship would use wireless as its main means of communication. Wired communication is nearly impossible to jam but wireless systems can easily be overwritten with random static
