I hate that Blind Melon is mostly known for "No Rain." I have a feeling some people including myself are starving for music from the soul aka Shannon Hoon and Blind Melon. Don't worry Melon Heads. We will have our day. Shannon was way ahead of his time and people just need to catch up.

I cry every single time I hear this song. Sometimes it is hard to stop. Luckily, I know that they did get a new life.....it lives in Nico and it lives in Maya. To me, this song epitomizes everything that Blind Melon was about. The groove, the feel, the emotion, and badassery.
It's sad that we can no longer enjoy Shannon in person, but with songs like this...it's about as close to meeting Shannon as I would have ever of gotten the chance to get.
This song was shannons way of embracing his new born child Nico Blue Hoon. It is so deep especially when you are a newly exoected parent. It also tells of his everyday battles. Love this song
