I love your comments. Too much anger and hatred in what would otherwise be a beautiful world. But the last line tells me perhaps you do not feel as I do; that most of the aforesaid hatred and cruelty was, if not caused by, certainly helped along by religion. I too am a humanist that wants everyone to get along and live in peace, but this is doubtful as long as people put their brains on hold and cling to their religious past.

Actually they didn't, they won the war but at the cost of HOW many times as many deaths as the Germans? Only after the Germans had used all their fighting resources did "allies" come in and bomb their civilian cities and "fuck them up" with war crimes they were never held responsible for.
