  • @shibizza He also wrote an exteremely depressing book about turning into a giant insect, being shunned as a result, and dying before returning to human form.

@KreukKristinLaura Wow, you're basing your view of America on a show that got canceled after two seasons? America's moms are like every other country's. Some are good and some aren't. I happen to love my mother.

  • Why did this show have to get canceled? Was it because it didn't get enough views?

  • @Mii20230201 Thank you. Though I didn't know we were arguing. I just thought to correct me over something so minor was funny. :)

  • @Mii20230201 Just fine. And you?

  • @Mii20230201 Really? It bothered you that much you had to reply? Of all the spelling errors on YouTube, you corrected "etc"? Not to sound nasty or anything. Just pure curiosity you are that anal? I could understand if I didn't type the correct quote, but really "ect" bothered you that much? Just... just wow!

  • Lol, "I excel at not giving a shit." ;D

  • MGM and Showtime can suck it... This show had such a perfect cast and crew.

Ellen Muth and Mandy Patinkin were immensely moving and entertaining in their roles.

  • Well, I finished both seasons. Unfortunately, I watched the movie, and now I have to re-watch both seasons in order to forget...

  • fuckin brill! I love this show, but the frikkin pricks didnt show season 2 in UK, well not to my knowledge, so im catching up on S2 right now

  • i pray for world peace ect...

  • georgia she's my type on this show

  • this is delicious...and MOIST. lmao

  • Moist!

  • This is the best TV show EVER !

    The best !

Just the way of looking at life and "end of life" is GREAT !

    F. Kafka said :" The only truth about life is that it is going to end. "

I think we just have to find peace with that ....

This show is saying us how ....

  • @shibizza kafka can suck a big one

  • whats with the glasses floating in the air @ 6:25?? is reggie invisible or something? lol

  • Yeah. That's joke. She's invisible to George.

  • @SuuzieQ Symbolism of how she ignores Reggie and pretends she isn't there :p

  • American moms suck! what kind of love is that? expecting Georgia to just do something, not right!

  • The dish with the Mashed potatoes in it at 6:12, I have that same one in my kitchen, it was my mother's..

  • I never noticed Reggie's glasses just hanging there til just now lol

  • omg 3:16 its DMZ demon

  • Thanks for the upload! Made me laugh, "Who had the NERVE to name you JOY?!"

  • "that's not me"

  • fsfsfs

  • nnh

  • Lmao i was wondering why there was a floating pair of glasses xD

  • 1:50 - Thats NOT me xD lol

  • "who had the nerve to name you joy?.." i love that lineXD

  • thanks for uploading this, been years since I've seen it :D

  • This show is awesome! I wish it was still making new seasons. I have the DVDs along with the movie. You know it's currently running on KCAL 9, on Sundays at 12:00 AM which is on Monday midnights.

  • TOILET SEAT GIRL!

  • I love the last words George said before this cut off.

Oh my god (with a lower case G) I LOVE THIS SHOW!

  • I love this show !

  • what's with those glasses at 6.26? they're floating lol

  • Those are her little sister's glasses. And they're floating because she's "invisible." At least in George's world.

  • is this the movie?

  • That Woman Standing On Top Of The Roof Is Freaking Hot

  • Hey, the Happy counselor is Gladys from Reaper!

  • This was one of my favorite shows. I own the entire set of DVDs and just got the movie that was put out on DVD. If you're inclined to check it out, go for the series as a starting point. It has Mandy Patinkin and he's a big part of why it's so good. (He's not in the movie which is called "Dead Like Me: Life After Death.")

  • oh hell was 2 months ago i was bored and just watced the movie for the hell of it. and freakin died when i got hooked on the series this show does a hell of a lot for a persons way of thought and life.there is nothing that can describe the feelings this show does for me its scarey in a good way now im not afraid to die any more.however there is only 2 seasons rite is there more i would really like to see more of this show wish they bring it back very much

  • justin19822, someone I know rents the DVDs of the series through NetFlix. I mention that in case you can't afford to buy the whole thing. I think they send her one DVD at a time rather than the whole set. It's an amazing series and just gets better from the pilot.

  • it was recently on instant watch so you can just stream it. idk if it still is i havent checked netflix in a while. but yeah this show is amazing

  • kickbuckets, much agreement on the quality of the show. The friend of mine has continued getting the "Dead Like Me" DVDs from Netflix so I can confirm that it's available there.

  • This is funny. Joy is annoying though. :D

  • 1:45 to 2:06, it's Vancouver. great shot

  • I frickin love this show... the straight to dvd movie was pretty good, too... It took me a while to realize that it wasn't an episode! : )

  • only str8 to dvd movie i can say is worth paying money for let alone sitting thru if you ask me i think it could have made a big deal at the box office and pulled in a bit of cash i love the movie and the show and thank god im alive to have enjoyed such a one of a kind peace of art

  • thanks!

  • I loved this show, thanks for putting it here. I hope they put it back!

  • HAHAHA. I just stumbled across this vid and boy am I glad I did that. This series seems good. :)

  • i did the same thing i watched the movie having never heard of the series i loved the movie then read it was also a series and i got freakin hooked like no tomorrow spent 2 whole days watching every episode i could there really is more to the show then just what you see its really a matter of what it makes you feel and a few made almost cry like a bitch.you really feel for the people and the main cherectors.but hey now im not afraid to die any more is really wrong 2 take it off the air

  • "Frog, is an asshole."

"I excell in not giving a shit. :)"

Lololol. I fucking love this show so much. Thank you for uploading this!

  • hey does anyone know where i can find the rest of the seasons? im having troubles finding them ^_^ thanks

  • lol! thanks for uploading!!

  • My mother could be Joy's twin. I love this show, and never would have seen it had you not uploaded it so thanks!

  • DLM rocks!!!!!!!!

  • Thank you so much for uploading these. This was such a clever show.

  • There is a direct-to-DVD movie planned to release in Febuary. BUY IT. Sales will determine if it gets picked back up!

  • 6:26 floating glasses?

  • Nevermind, its just her apparently retarded sister. And did she say her name was George Glass? (Brady Bunch movie lol).

  • No, Gorge lass, Her sister is not retarted, George just didnt pay attention to her much when she was alive.

  • George Lass. And her mom's name is Joy. Joy Lass.

  • Ah, clever, Joy-less, joyless. lol.

  • "You'd be better off sticking to redundant duties!" LOL

  • i miss this show so much

    lol crystal is so funny

  • Here's a tip for anyone looking for a job interview: Don't act like George did. :)

  • Really? What's wrong I thought she did great.

  • uh... she didn't smile at all, she commented on how bad Delores' job was, she seemed to have a very bad attitude about the whole thing...

  • Sacarsm? Get it?

  • lol aw she looks so cute and young in this episode

  • thanks for posting this. good quality!

  • lol george reminds me of my sister. Cool show :]

  • george totally pwnd dolores

  • i don't know of many 18 year olds that know what they want to do, have found themselves, or know who they are. you'd think Joy could be a little more understanding of her own flesh and blood's difficulty to find her place in the world rather than accusing her of suckling at her retirement fund. guess it wouldn't be television though if she were.

  • really? I would think that all high school grads have an idea of what they want to be

  • man, you people are incredibly ignorant

  • thats actually not true at all..Most people do know what they want to do by the time there a junior in hs or atleast have some idea of it or of what they like. i'm 20 and have known what i've wanted to do since I was 16.

  • so you because you did everyone does? that's great that you've known what you've wanted to do with your life since you were 16. unfortunately many don't and i still think it would have been more realistic if the mother had been a little more understanding.

  • I agree. I chose by myself to leave home, living in another place (let's say, it is far far away). And it seems that everything happens to George did really happen to me. That's why I love this show.

So from my experience, after so long, when you look back, your mother or anybody in your family's support is not so important any more. Sooner or later you have to make a choice, whether you want or not.

  • And understanding, that's good. I don't really think it will help you much to find what you want to do, but that will give you better personality and supportive to other people you love, which I think is good.

  • thankyou, i've been looking for episodes everywhere!

  • joy is so angsty

  • 1:43, that is so obviously not Seattle, with Harbour Centre, which has a viewing deck that is slightly similar but definitely different from the Space Needle viewing deck, lol.

  • lol yeah, its set in Seattle but its/was filmed in Vancouver.

  • "This is delicious...and moist" :D

  • Thanks for uploading !

  • because the little sister is invisible in her memory. the glasses are the only thing she remembers till she trys harder

  • Ok at 6:25, why are there glasses flying in mid air ?

  • lol, that's funny... I never realized that before

It's George's metaphor for her sister Reggie practically being "invisible".

  • lol yeah i didn't relize that the first time either

  • ha ha i bet that suxs ppl getting better jobs than u

  • Lol Frog was an asshole :D

  • LOL i was just about to quote that
