09 ram sucks...if im gonna buy a truck, its to work and the ram cant with its pussy 6700lb tow rating. dodge new it coulnt compete with Ford and GM so it went a diff way and offered coil spring rear suspensions which are shit for a work truck. i find it pathetic t that a sport-trac can out-tow the ram! a V6 frontier or tacoma can almost two as much as the 09 ram. DODGE BLEW IT!! dodge is for pussies...

well whatever the # is...its still the weakest tower compared to the rest. real trucks dont use coil springs. any truck guy knows leaf springs are the way to go for a truck. i credit dodge for going a diff route but y fix something that doesnt need to be fixed??

The 09 ford f150 can tow a max of 11100 lbs, and the 09 chevy silverado can tow a max of 10400 lbs, all 4x4 models with their largest engine. Yes dodge may have the smallest towing capacity of the three for the half tons, but personally, i think if you are going to be towing more than 8000lbs, you should be driving at least a 3/4 ton with a diesel. But thats just my opinion.

Oh and dodge has the most power out of the 3 :P

horsepower numbers are just for shits and giggles, its about how it puts it to the ground. the 345hp ram couldnt out-tow the others with the old leafspring setup anyway. by that logic the 09 Ram should out pull everyone...but for whatever reason it doesnt...

thats what dodge is betting on. that the buyer that wants a more compliant ride will go with the '09 ram rather than be caught in a ridgeline and that those that want to use their trucks to work will step up to the 2500 series. the only dodge that gets my attention is a cummins...ive been eyeing my neighbors 94 12-valve with just over 100k miles and its untouched!

I used to have a 97 cummins 12 valve till it got stolen, it was a very sweet truck, i tuned it up to damn near 450 hp for under $1000. But the thing i really dont like about those years of dodges is their interiors are crap.
