I Luv Jimmy so much, his music u can get if u realy want, help me a lot duriny youth, as a growing up boy who no real person to stand by me that can say u can do it, jimmy music and song was there for me even up till know, god bless yah jimmy my belove friend.
I don't believe she was infatuated. If you are talking about the meaningful pause after he replies "...in terms of what?" I think she was taken aback/embarassed by her own subconcious association of Jimmy Cliff to a sterotype bad boy yardie (gangsta) image of black Jamaican men at the time (as portrayed in the film with Cliff 'The Harder They Come')..of course I could be wrong, 'Many Rivers To Cross' is about the best song ever and most people are mesmorized under its spell so why not her?!
She was totally infatuated with Jimmy hahahah and you see how he's just checkin it/her out. I want more of this interview. I saw Jimmy Cliff 2 years ago at the Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett New York. He was 10 feet in front of me, and his voice hasn't changed at all. God Bless Jimmy Cliff
