Ich hatte gar nicht gewusst, dass die Deutschen das jetzt selbst produzieren. Schrecklich- in jeglicher Hinsicht... Schuster bleib' bei Deinen Leisten. Christian Rode, als Nachfolger von Schön und Kieling, war so toll als Bert. Habeck hat auch gut auf Ernie gepaßt, auch wenn das Erbe Duwner ein sehr schweres war. Aber sowas-- wir haben so gute Synchronschauspieler in Deutschland, aber dafür so schlechte Drehbuchautoren. Und hier kommt jetzt das Schlechteste zusammen:-(... Schade.

I just wonder why Sesame Street doesn't show Bert and Ernie more often, like Sesamstrasse does. They're probably more popular in Germany I guess =\

That's actually a fact. They're VERY popular in Germany, which is why they show them alot and even make new sketches with them.

I really wish they'd show more E&B too. The slight format change in Season 38 gave the show a more "looser" feel, where they squeeze anything into the time period, which gave Grover a lot more to do other than his GG bits, but they STILL showed mostly songs by Ernie and Bert instead of sketches (only 2 sketches were shown).

I thought Sesame's 39th season was awesome, in my opinion, the best the show had been in years. I just wish they'd show more Ernie and Bert other than just the clay animated shorts.

Personally, I don't care who they reacast for Ernie and Bert. They're Jim and Frank's characters, and none of the "new" performers can ruin that. Besides that, I think Steve and Eric do a decent job as Ernie and Bert. Especially nowadays.
