Hey, loved the video! just wondering when you apply to the face is it very greasy because its an oil? or does it sink in rather well, many thanks! :) x
@KatieElizabethxx Hey :) well that depends on your skin, is it very dry and flakey? Mine is and I find that after applying coconut oil it just kind of sinks into the skin because it's so dry. It's abit shiny when I first apply it but after about 30 mins it settles. Hope that's answered your question :)
try using the cetaphil eczema specialty line that they have. they ahve a body wash and a face/body lotion and omg it works so well! i also use the cetaphil facial cleaner. it makes me skin feel so good!
@jdomakeup I've never used any cetaphil products but have heard good things about them. I want to try one of their lotions. How's your eczema behaving these days?
@EczemaRemedies it comes and goes but the cetaphil cleanser has changed my life. i have switched my step one in the clinique skincare system to the cetaphil cleaner and it does the exact same thing. it is also alot cheaper than the clinique one which makes it even more amazing. you should try the cetaphil line of products. its awesome for ppl who have eczema.
@GlamourKillsTian Sorry to hear that :( That's the thing with eczema, something that works for someone doesn't always work for another. It's so frustrtating! You just have to keep trying different things until you find what works for you
Yay finally a new video! :) Great review. I use the Nutiva organic coconut oil on my scalp because I have scalp eczema. I apply a good amount of coconut oil on to my scalp and by the next morning my scalp is so so much better.
@eczematalk Thanks :) aw It's good to hear that coconut oil is helping you too. Is it seborrheic dermatitis that you have? They sell over the counter shampoos that treat it, have you tried them?
@EczemaRemedies My dermatologist never told me that it's called seborrheic dermatitis so I have no idea if it is that. But my scalp usually gets a big patch that looks really dry and flaky (small little flakes). My derm actually prescribed my Clobetasol foam for my scalp but I like using more natural things like coconut oil or I'll rinse my hair with apple cider vinegar.
@eczematalk That's what it sounds like to me, it's also called cradle cap because babies get it a lot on their scalp. If it is seborrheic it's caused by a fungus that naturally lives on the skin but increases in number for one reason or another. My dermo thought I had it because I had eczema on my eye lids and my eyebrows.
I also prefer using natural but unfortunately it doesn't always work :(
ohh I've heard that cider vinegar helps but never tried it :P
@eczematalk Oh yeah thats the one....T/Gel! Hmmm I guess different things work for different people. I'm glad you've found something that works for you :)

@EczemaRemedies I have tried over the counter shampoos like the Neutrogena T Gel but it didn't work for me. So I just stick to coconut oil and ACV,
