Where's Hernandez? Where's Amazing Red? Where's Christopher Daniels? Where's Homicide? What happened to London Brawling? How the hell was Rob Terry in the top 10 contenders? What is the point of the Legends/Global/TV title? Why do we have to watch crappy Abyss brawls? Will we ever get to see RVD vs Kurt Angle? Think about some of these questions TNA and maybe you'll get back on track.
As for Sting...man, he used to be my favorite wrestler, but I think he's done. With his character like it is now, I see nothing good he can do on screen. Maybe he can be of use behind the scenes. Jarret...hmmm...I think JJ can still go, but it needs to be very limited. Maybe pair him with a guy in a mentor role as well and at some point, he and Nash can pit their boys against each other. I know that's still putting focus on old guys, but at least it would be helping some young blood.
Dixie is no longer needed on TV. Shit, they could do without Hogan and just let Bischoff be the on air in charge guy, but I know you love Hogan Jeff, and he'd be fine if they'd leave out all the personal crap. Same with Flair. He'd be fine if he just took the mentor/manager role, but keep his old ass out of the ring! As for Nash, I'd like to see him pick a protege and take on a mentor/manager role as well, but just one guy, not a stable. However, Nash's ego would probably not allow it.

What if TNA adopted a similar model to what WCW used to do in the day... They can have their weekly show taped as is now, but then once a month they air a live show on free tv, like the old Clash of the Champions WCW had monthly. A live show with a ppv feel. Then on top of that, they only have 4 ppvs a year, preferably outside the impact zone, then they can have three months or so to build to a ppv and actually get a decent amount of hype around some matches and feuds.
Jeff-TNA should have a "Hit the Bricks" P.P.V. team up some of these young guys & have them take on the guys who are basically a bunch of old farts hanging around for a freakin pay check, make them all elmination matches-You lose well hit the bricks your time is through in TNA! Then you dump Hogan (not that he can't work in the front office), Flair, Nash, Sting, Double J, the ECW guys who are coming in now give TNA a whole new look & focus on MCMG, Bucks, Beer Money, A.J., Joe,etc. just 1 option
I love TNA because even with the old guys that should be gone there and getting pushed, the match quality and talent is just better in my opinion.
What they should do:
1) Get rid of Bischoff and Hogan. As great as they once were, Bishcoff himself said that no young guy has ever put butts in seats. Thats BS because as they push old guys more and more, the ratings keep getting worse. Coincidence?
2) Bring back the two things that made TNA something. The X-Division and the focus on wrestling.
Its really sad to see women like Sarita, Daffney and Hamada not be used when they have so much to offer in that ring. And it sucks that Angelina is always put into matches with the same girls over and over again (Madison and Tara) I really hope they come back strong by the end of this year because right now they're no better than the WWE divas (and even they are putting on better matches right now) TNA needs to get the knockouts back in form, they give the highest rated segments anyway
So here's my question: what is it gonna take for TNA to recognize the albatross they have hanging around their neck with the likes of Hogan, Sting, Hall and Flair, and finally let the younger talent start taking center stage for real? They've done it before and that's when they started gaining ground, only for "the band to get back together" and everything stagnates once again. It's a real shame and I'm not WISHING a catastrophe on anyone, but is that what it's going to take?

I don`t know about everyone else but I had the option to buy this for 2-3 weeks after its broadcast..... and plus they sell the PPV before the PPV even happens so in all it had probley about 6-8 weeks to sell.

ways to make TNA better: bring kong, daniels, roxxi, and moose (mickie knuckles) all back pretty much those women so the knockouts division gets better. end all of the story lines with those older guys and push more of the younger guys. put the belt on mr. anderson so RVD can come back from his "injury" and win the title back. shut abyss the hell up and bring back james mitchell. bring new talent from mexico and japan in to showcase their talent. just to name a few things.

TNA will do better once the wrestling business as a whole does better. Look at how it was back in the early-to-mid 90s with the WWF and their family-friendly PG garbage like they do now, and WCW in the TNA type role. Then Bischoff gets the nWo idea from Japan and we proceed into arguably the hottest period in wrestling history. That is what TNA, & the wrestling business as a whole needs, 1 amazing idea that can turn the industry upside down. What is that idea? I don't know, but it's out there.
Go back to October 2005, the debut of Impact on Spike TV. What were the focal points of that show? The return of Kevin Nash (dud) and the debut of Team 3D. Therein lies the problem. Everytime TNA has an opportunity to do something new and original, they either retread or attempt to redo an angle or match that is either past the point of being cool or was ruined the last time someone tried to and no one has an interest in seeing it again.

Heres the thing about TNA and why everyone is and should be very critical of what they do. TNA is a young company, doing all they can to try and make a name for themselves on the big stage. Heres the problem, they are falling short of everything they want and need to do and because they are trying to be the big dog they claim to be they cant be making mistakes like they are. They need to be as perfect as possible if they want that kind of recognition. showcase what made you popular! X-Divsion!
I really like TNA but i do agree that alot needs to be changed, jus not by Hogan. Also to, the four contenders for the title right now are past wwe stars, i like them but why cant TNA put someone like Joe in the title picture, or even AJ again? TNA is not the same without The Fallen Angel either. To anwer your question though, all TNA has to do is stop showcasing older stars, showcase the X-Division (good wrestling), none of the Old ECW, WWE, and WCW stars. Keep up the videos.
TNA does have a good product but it will never bring in the ratings that wwe does, Unless they do somthing extreme and I don't know start touring the world in places like Britian, China, small scale venues

All Hogan did when he came in was officially turn it into WCW 2.0, and BAD WCW 2.0 at that. Went back to 4 sides, had the entrance ramp go to the ring, brought in Bischoff, Flair, Hall, and Waltman to have them talk bout the 'good ole days'. Obviously crazy Vinnie Ru wasn't enough to ruin TNA's reputation.

What Jeff is doing in this video is expressing his frustrations with the company and giving his opinions and using numbers to back him up. In his opinion and mine, rehashing old angles and using old stars as focal points isn't working. Obviously some people disagree with us, but the numbers tell the story. If TNA was selling out arenas and doing huge PPV numbers, THEN you could say we are "bashing" them.

Pretty spot on video Jeff, thanks for posting. I have enjoyed TNAs ppvs this year but I think they are screwing up on Impacts.
The young guys are there but some not consistently. I mean Generation Me have barely tagged on Impact recently yet they rocked the house with the Guns last week. Surely it's not a cardinal sin to have more than one tag match on Impact. Anyone tuning into the show recently would think Beer Money and MCMG were the only teams in the division.
What TNA needs to do is simplify their product. Don't give a zillion options to choose from. It's basic marketing. You give the consumer to many options they will think less of the product and will be more likely to complain. If you went out to buy a cellphone and they had 200 to choose from, you'll go home thinking of the other 199 that u could have got instead. If u only had 5 to choose from u will leave happier knowing u only had 4 other choices and it makes the one you chose so much better.
every time i "try" and watch impact , i fall asleep... no shit, EVERY SINGLE TIME! even during matches featuring the guys i like, i think the problam for me is its just too underwhelming, i find it almost impossable to get excited by anything they do because its seems like everything they do do turns to complete bullshit!
Everyone else is saying the same thing and I'm with them. Drop the main stars from WCW including Bishoff and Russo. I used to love TNA because it was different. It had awesome match styles and the six sided ring was cool. Now, it's exactly how WCW was when it died. If they don't realize that fact, TNA will head the same direction.

There's 3 things TNA can do to get better.........
1. GET RID OF HULK HOGAN
2. GET RID OF ERIC BISHOFF

I might buy the ppv's if i didn't feel like i was watching the same thing as impact. They always give away big matches on impact much less they hardly advertise them. Also if the cut back on all the gimmicks. The best of 5 series was great but having a stip in every match gets tiresome after a while.
In my option TNA should fire sting,nash,hulk hogan ,eric bischoff , ric flair and vince russo. then hire paul heyman have him make matches and storylines. also TNA NEEDS to push there younger wrestlers.

Russo out fire nash sting bring back king of the mountain push the x division defend tv title on TV! have hamada own all the knockouts and brink back awesome king. fire OJ 3D all the dead weight that is just a waste of money. Hey Jeff! I love the show and now that it's in HD, I think you should consider getting something from a graphic standpoint to compliment it like maybe a monitor or something with cool a nodq and/or talk wrestling logo on it. kinda like when wwe and tna changed their sets to really bring out the quality of the HD to be different from how they looked before. The LA scenery is nice and all, but i think that something else might get the HD to be more appreciated.Consider it! Keep up the great work!

honestly man, This wont get a higher buyrate..because no one pays for it. Most past "talk wrestling" shows HAVE well over 8,000 views. look at the viewership of talk wrestling...where is it mowt popular? I love talk wrestling.. i think it needs more depthe tho to be quite honest. I also feel TNA is on a good path. I see them improving in the ratings. tna's programming was much better before hogan came in and fucked it all up. .as much as i love nash and he can still cut a pretty good promo he needs to just leave with some grace and let the younger guys shine. the matches they had late last year with angle vs wolfe and angle vs A.J were great. i honestly believe in pure wrestling ability TNA's stable is better than what WWE has atm. at least what they show of them. you cant beat wwe in "theatrics" so beat them in in-ring action.

Where's Hernandez? Where's Amazing Red? Where's Christopher Daniels? Where's Homicide? What happened to London Brawling? How the hell was Rob Terry in the top 10 contenders? What is the point of the Legends/Global/TV title? Why do we have to watch crappy Abyss brawls? Will we ever get to see RVD vs Kurt Angle? Think about some of these questions TNA and maybe you'll get back on track.

As for Sting...man, he used to be my favorite wrestler, but I think he's done. With his character like it is now, I see nothing good he can do on screen. Maybe he can be of use behind the scenes. Jarret...hmmm...I think JJ can still go, but it needs to be very limited. Maybe pair him with a guy in a mentor role as well and at some point, he and Nash can pit their boys against each other. I know that's still putting focus on old guys, but at least it would be helping some young blood.

Shit, they could do without Hogan and just let Bischoff be the on air in charge guy, but I know you love Hogan Jeff, and he'd be fine if they'd leave out all the personal crap. Same with Flair. He'd be fine if he just took the mentor/manager role, but keep his old ass out of the ring! As for Nash, I'd like to see him pick a protege and take on a mentor/manager role as well, but just one guy, not a stable. However, Nash's ego would probably not allow it.

What if TNA adopted a similar model to what WCW used to do in the day... They can have their weekly show taped as is now, but then once a month they air a live show on free tv, like the old Clash of the Champions WCW had monthly. A live show with a ppv feel. Then on top of that, they only have 4 ppvs a year, preferably outside the impact zone, then they can have three months or so to build to a ppv and actually get a decent amount of hype around some matches and feuds.

Jeff-TNA should have a "Hit the Bricks" P.P.V. team up some of these young guys & have them take on the guys who are basically a bunch of old farts hanging around for a freakin pay check, make them all elmination matches-You lose well hit the bricks your time is through in TNA! Then you dump Hogan (not that he can't work in the front office), Flair, Nash, Sting, Double J, the ECW guys who are coming in now give TNA a whole new look & focus on MCMG, Bucks, Beer Money, A.J., Joe,etc. just 1 option

I love TNA because even with the old guys that should be gone there and getting pushed, the match quality and talent is just better in my opinion.
What they should do:
1) Get rid of Bischoff and Hogan. As great as they once were, Bishcoff himself said that no young guy has ever put butts in seats. Thats BS because as they push old guys more and more, the ratings keep getting worse. Coincidence?
2) Bring back the two things that made TNA something. The X-Division and the focus on wrestling.

Its really sad to see women like Sarita, Daffney and Hamada not be used when they have so much to offer in that ring. And it sucks that Angelina is always put into matches with the same girls over and over again (Madison and Tara) I really hope they come back strong by the end of this year because right now they're no better than the WWE divas (and even they are putting on better matches right now) TNA needs to get the knockouts back in form, they give the highest rated segments anyway

So here's my question: what is it gonna take for TNA to recognize the albatross they have hanging around their neck with the likes of Hogan, Sting, Hall and Flair, and finally let the younger talent start taking center stage for real? They've done it before and that's when they started gaining ground, only for "the band to get back together" and everything stagnates once again. It's a real shame and I'm not WISHING a catastrophe on anyone, but is that what it's going to take?

I don`t know about everyone else but I had the option to buy this for 2-3 weeks after its broadcast..... and plus they sell the PPV before the PPV even happens so in all it had probley about 6-8 weeks to sell.

ways to make TNA better: bring kong, daniels, roxxi, and moose (mickie knuckles) all back pretty much those women so the knockouts division gets better. end all of the story lines with those older guys and push more of the younger guys. put the belt on mr. anderson so RVD can come back from his "injury" and win the title back. shut abyss the hell up and bring back james mitchell. bring new talent from mexico and japan in to showcase their talent. just to name a few things.

TNA will do better once the wrestling business as a whole does better. Look at how it was back in the early-to-mid 90s with the WWF and their family-friendly PG garbage like they do now, and WCW in the TNA type role. Then Bischoff gets the nWo idea from Japan and we proceed into arguably the hottest period in wrestling history. That is what TNA, & the wrestling business as a whole needs, 1 amazing idea that can turn the industry upside down. What is that idea? I don't know, but it's out there.

How do you fix TNA?
Go back to October 2005, the debut of Impact on Spike TV. What were the focal points of that show? The return of Kevin Nash (dud) and the debut of Team 3D. Therein lies the problem. Everytime TNA has an opportunity to do something new and original, they either retread or attempt to redo an angle or match that is either past the point of being cool or was ruined the last time someone tried to and no one has an interest in seeing it again.
They should've put the focus on Joe.

Heres the thing about TNA and why everyone is and should be very critical of what they do. TNA is a young company, doing all they can to try and make a name for themselves on the big stage. Heres the problem, they are falling short of everything they want and need to do and because they are trying to be the big dog they claim to be they cant be making mistakes like they are. I really like TNA but i do agree that alot needs to be changed, jus not by Hogan. Also to, the four contenders for the title right now are past wwe stars, i like them but why cant TNA put someone like Joe in the title picture, or even AJ again? TNA is not the same without The Fallen Angel either. To anwer your question though, all TNA has to do is stop showcasing older stars, showcase the X-Division (good wrestling), none of the Old ECW, WWE, and WCW stars. Keep up the videos.

What does wanting TNA to succeed have with proving that you're NOT bashing TNA?! I want TNA to be successful aswell - but I am highly critical of them. Not in the text book "I watched 3 minutes of a shoot interview on youtube therefore I know everything" IWC kind of way. What Jeff is doing in this video is expressing his frustrations with the company and giving his opinions and using numbers to back him up. In his opinion and mine, rehashing old angles and using old stars as focal points isn't working. Obviously some people disagree with us, but the numbers tell the story. If TNA was selling out arenas and doing huge PPV numbers, THEN you could say we are "bashing" them.

Pretty spot on video Jeff, thanks for posting. I have enjoyed TNAs ppvs this year but I think they are screwing up on Impacts.
The young guys are there but some not consistently. I mean Generation Me have barely tagged on Impact recently yet they rocked the house with the Guns last week. Surely it's not a cardinal sin to have more than one tag match on Impact. Anyone tuning into the show recently would think Beer Money and MCMG were the only teams in the division.

What TNA needs to do is simplify their product. Don't give a zillion options to choose from. It's basic marketing. You give the consumer to many options they will think less of the product and will be more likely to complain. If you went out to buy a cellphone and they had 200 to choose from, you'll go home thinking of the other 199 that u could have got instead. If u only had 5 to choose from u will leave happier knowing u only had 4 other choices and it makes the one you chose so much better.

every time i "try" and watch impact , i fall asleep... no shit, EVERY SINGLE TIME! even during matches featuring the guys i like, i think the problam for me is its just too underwhelming, i find it almost impossable to get excited by anything they do because its seems like everything they do do turns to complete bullshit!

Everyone else is saying the same thing and I'm with them. Drop the main stars from WCW including Bishoff and Russo. I used to love TNA because it was different. It had awesome match styles and the six sided ring was cool. Now, it's exactly how WCW was when it died. If they don't realize that fact, TNA will head the same direction.

I think the answer is obvious. if Talk Wrestling is getting more views than their show, they should host talk wrestling if they want more views.
In all seriousness, TNA isn't even listening to people trying to tell them their product is crappy. Bischoff goes on rants basically saying that it's only the smarks who aren't happy. While that may or may not be true, could it REALLY hurt to listen to them at this point?

1. GET RID OF HULK HOGAN
2. GET RID OF ERIC BISHOFF
3. GET RID OF THE OLD FARTS LIKE NASH, JARRETT, STING, THE ECW ORIGINALS (except for RVD at least he's still in shape & can still wrestle & put on a great match)

I might buy the ppv's if i didn't feel like i was watching the same thing as impact. They always give away big matches on impact much less they hardly advertise them. Also if the cut back on all the gimmicks. The best of 5 series was great but having a stip in every match gets tiresome after a while.

Hey Jeff! I love the show and now that it's in HD, I think you should consider getting something from a graphic standpoint to compliment it like maybe a monitor or something with cool a nodq and/or talk wrestling logo on it. kinda like when wwe and tna changed their sets to really bring out the quality of the HD to be different from how they looked before. The LA scenery is nice and all, but i think that something else might get the HD to be more appreciated.Consider it! Keep up the great work!

i totally agree with jeff to a certain point.... i agree with taking the younger talent and turning them into the main stars. THE NEW STARS! tna can even use the older guys in a magical way... by using them for one or 2 matches a year around bound for glory .... the old guys could work in japan for money and maybe taking the tna brand over there to accelerate it. just an idea dixie. tna was awesome when it was nwa tna .. now ... its just horrible to watch most of the time.

i totally agree with what jeff is saying... tna neeeeeds to focus on the younger talent so much ... they have to be the next stars. tna cannot be 1996 wcw or ecw they have to let that go... they cant even be 1998 wwe they have to let it go... the company needs to change .... take the old guys and put them in the back ... let them be mentors or something. and tna if they do this wisely... they could put the older guys in the occasional spot light but they need to do it once or twice a year

honestly man, This wont get a higher buyrate..because no one pays for it. Most past "talk wrestling" shows HAVE well over 8,000 views. look at the viewership of talk wrestling...where is it mowt popular? I love talk wrestling.. i think it needs more depthe tho to be quite honest. I also feel TNA is on a good path. I see them improving in the ratings. Within 2010, i predict TNA will have a 1.5 at some point. if im wrong i will admit it openly

tna's programming was much better before hogan came in and fucked it all up. .as much as i love nash and he can still cut a pretty good promo he needs to just leave with some grace and let the younger guys shine. the matches they had late last year with angle vs wolfe and angle vs A.J were great. i honestly believe in pure wrestling ability TNA's stable is better than what WWE has atm. at least what they show of them. you cant beat wwe in "theatrics" so beat them in in-ring action.
