One of the dumbest review i've seen.This guy was alomst sleeping and talking all the time about this flamethrower.This is a great game!The story doesn't live up to the expectations but the atmosphere is so good that driving from one end to the other just to kill a fucking cop seems like the funnest thing to do.The game absolutly gives you a reason to care-you are sick of malaria.What more ?And these guys wouldn't be so stupid if you played on something above easy = )

you say that the combined iq of guards is 12 yet you play like a stupid noob, probably on easy. AI is great, a little bit confused when fighting inside, but great! if you were to play this on infamous level you wouldn't make it to that fort's main gate dude.

@KottonmouthFace Yes, and it is the best mapmaker I've used since Timesplitters, unless you play LittleBigPlanet, but that's no shooter. It doesn't have a tutorial, though, you'll have to just play around with it to figure it out, but once you do, it's fantastic.

My biggest gripe with this game is the enemies that respawn immediately after going out of view after killing them

Another thing good about is that you're the main character, you get to experience the terrifying life of a merc trying to solve a conflict. It's like the creators read Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad (the book Apocalypse Now is based on) and thought it would make a great game.

The one thing I really disliked about this game is how you are constantly being attacked for no apparent reason, especially while driving. If you have to travel very far to reach your next objective then you'll probably have to contend with at least a few hostile jeeps and checkpoints along the way. This isn't immediately annoying, although it can be since everytime you do get shot at you have to get out, deal with the enemies, and then probably repair your vehicle. It gets annoying.

Best honest fair review ive heard !!

This game was perfect for me. i spent like a few hours doing 1 mission cause i waited for it to go dark and had my sniper rifle picking off the enemy staying hidden etc... probably the most memorable moment in a game because it felt so real to me backed up with the lush graphics.

Highly recommend this game for the atmosphere and realism! and you can get in to some pretty epic firefights!.

And im still forgetting to add the cool weapons the game has!

only thing i absolutely dread is that there's this weight on whenever u look around, i mean, seriously, why do games have that? Sure it's for "realism" and "precision" but c'mon, it's VIDEO GAMES!!! This delay in aiming is so FREAKIN ANNOYING! This aiming weight practicaly RUINS games like Killzone 2, Battlefield Bad Company and this one, Far Cry 2, for me as it's just feels unnatural and often causing headaches. CoD, Halo and L4D dont have it, and they are all excellent games! Thumbs up plz!

The AI in the PC version doesn't feel like this at all. Sure there are some ...awkward moments, but the AI characters are ruthless, accurate and can "see" fine, even through bushes.

@ApocalypticTards They give your character no personailty: so you think of one. They dont force you to do any missions you could drive around running over shit all day if you wanted to. And repetition is good if you enjoy it. Also there is mission variety, the only downside i see is that the missions needed to be longer. Some of them can be beat really really quickly. Anyways this game isn't for everyone, but its definitely one of my all time faves.

Long story short everyones car blew up and i was the last man standing and ended up walking a ways to my nearest house. =) good times

Playing at easier levels destroys the realism that this game brings (well, at least you weren't using crosshair). On Infamous you would have to take a lot more care of your character, how you do things, kill soldiers and plan how to finish a mission. Oh, and basically you don't drive, you use buses and take alternate and silent routes.

But if you still want to take ten shots and survive, run out of bullets in front of the enemy and survive, carry thousands of bullets, well...

I really hate the guard posts in this game , and sometimes random douche bags come with a car and shoot you , gets really annoying fast.

The missions need you to drive a lot and it's like a gimmick from the developers to extend the play time , I found walking in STALKER more entertaining than this.

the game would have been a lot better if there were radio stations, more bus stops and/or a smaller environment, if you could have the option of driving in 3rd person, a better save system where you could save anywhere, and if there were less enemy camps and/or if the enemys wouldnt chase you forever when you drive by an enemy camp. and of course smoother gun play would be nice too. (great review CGR!)
