It needs a real political support that can make sure a stable enviroment where government institutions can operate and where life can exist. Security is No1 for Somalis and that's the support Somalia needs from the US. More money goes to wrong hands and can be used as a counterproductive method to destablise safer areas in Somalia and the east African region.

For instance, if the US cares about Africa, why it didn’t support Africa’s first democratically elected government in Somalia in 1960s? Most of African countries were under the rule of dictatorships or fighting for their independence when Somalia had three presidential and parliamentary elections in 1960, 1965, 1967, and in 1969.
