@madmupp you will surely enjoy the x type if you end up getting it and it's not 4WD per say but AWD the difference AWD (allwheeldrive) which you cannot turn off like 4WD vehicle but that also means the handling is incredible. Win I drive my 05 3.0 x type I can feel the immediate response of the wheel
I'm concidering getting a Jag X type... Either the 2.5 or 3ltr sport. I like the styling and the fact its 4wd... Does anyone know any reasons why I should or better yet shouldnt take the plunge for my first Jaguar...
@MadMupp I got one about 6 months ago, and I have really enjoyed it. I have an 02 3.0. Its Silver with white interior. It drives, and handles really well. Accelerates quite nicely on the freeway, and has tons of trunk space, and beautiful/functional interior. I have two subs in the trunk, and enough room for groceries. I plan on keeping it in my collection, and think its a great way to get started with luxury sedans.
He is right about it being well balanced and the front or back not stepping too far out of shape though. Mine is a 3.0 litre auto and it holds road real well.
It looks like one of the 4WD versions thats either the 2.5 and 3 litre petrol as when the X Type was launched back in 2001 these were the only versions offered with the 4 wheel drive system.

I have 2 of these cars, 1 saloon 1 estate. If it's good enough for Eddie Irvine, it's more than good enough for me.
Irvine is the best F1 Champion we never had.
