how come no base to install the dummy on? it's wobbling all over the place. no way to practice sending into the dummy to see if the recoil is correct.
@Kenneth9725 There are many different wing chun families all teaching their own style of wing chun, so the forms do vary a lot. Predominately, there are 3 forms, but with many variations.
Watched again,...note GM Wong looks on takes a picture of his student and walks away at the 36 second mark with such a smile and look of pride for his student's performance,...that's AWESOME !
how many wing chun guys does it take to screw in a light bulb? 3,,, 1 to actually do it and 2 to stand there whining saying, that's not how we do it at our school. Just because someone doesn't do it the way your school does, doesn't make it wrong. I choose to say this Practitioner/Sifu in the video did an excellent job. Not all schools turn on heels and that does NOT make it wrong, just makes it not the way you do it. Ego's should be set aside and viewed with an open mind.
haha, i like that. 2 to stand there and moan. so true. must keep an open mind. This is very different from my form but I found it incredibly interesting.
Not very impressive sorry, just techniques and no bodystructure. Sometimes this guy doesn't turn on his heels which is sloppy and makes your technique lose structure...Looks cool though =)

I practice wing chun and I thought that the light bulb thing was a bit harsh, but sadly it's true.
Wing chun chalked full of people with minds that only open this far = ....
I agree with you tho
If we practice the same art we should care "how someone Else's bong sao looks" lool
I try to get as much as I can out of any
lineage I see.
(but I try and make my form look like Ip mans)
