was I like the only one that actually beat this game as a kid (about 96 on the snes). Wow.....I remember the Monstro level was hard. I think i actually skipped some levels....or im just a badass gamer. oh well :D

In the 90's they sure did! :p It was kind of the first exporation they did with pairing a video game with a movie. Now, it's pretty much a requirement for them. They even had a videogame division in Disney during the SNES/Genesis days, but now they've farmed it out to subcontractors to save money.

Back in my childhood, I've heard of the Aladdin game by Capcom for Snes (own it once) and Disney Interactive for the Genesis version, Jungle Book & Lion King both made by Disney Interactive for SNES and Genesis. (rented both for SNES version before) Toy Story 1 also.
