ToP GBA is one of the worst localizations I've ever seen. This project will be much better - they've even added additional stuff to the game not present in the original.

Like the site says, the ToD2 patch is for PS2 only.

Not sure. The last thing they put out was a pre-alpha menu patch, but I know they've done work on it since then. Don't think this project has been touched in months. Your best bet is to check their forums.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for these guys. I'd only end up suffocating myself to death. I mean ffs, over a whole decade for one project? seriously?!? Absolute Zero was done with his project 1 year after announcing it, and it was amazing.

@PikohanRevenge I've tried that damn patch time and again, but it doesn't work for me. I'l type the files in from the same directory and it'll get an error not finding the xdelta3 file and say it's ready to burn (w/o the newly re-named iso).

This game is only for PS2.

When Namco localized Tales of Eternia, they had to rename it to Tales of Destiny 2 because of trademark issues. Tales of Eternia (the one with Reid) actually has nothing to do with the Destiny timeline. So Tales of Destiny 2 on the PS1 is actually Tales of Eternia and Tales of Destiny 2 on the PS2 is the actual Tales of Destiny 2. Confusing, I know.

Not really. Only a pre-alpha menu patch has been released, IIRC. Pretty sure a complete English patch is years away. Cless, the main hacker and project leader, is dedicating most of his time completing his Phantasia patch, so I imagine that this project hasn't been touched for a while.

If you haven't noticed my comment on the quality of your videos, 1:52 is a perfect view of it.

Basically, if you were to play the game and watch it on here, it would look the same. Usually on here it's a fraction choppier.

I'm pretty sure Reala doesn't need a fancy car. But I like this opening, it's a nice sequel.

But yeah, I like the opening too, despite all the complaining I did in the description. I just wish the gave Judas some better music to kick ass to. Oh well, I guess they wanted to match the song with one of the themes of the game.

Hmm, really? Well, poor Uncle Judas really deserves more attention since he somehow doesn't get to "live" in any game he's in. Kind of like Zero from the Mega Man X series.

I like to think that he got the same treatment as Reala and got to live a fresh life; hence why Kyle finds his mask in the ending.

Maybe that's just wishful thinking.
