@Metalforever132 I think that you do have a good point, beautiful places like that need to remain so. As for keeping the Scandinavian "breed" intact...be careful with that comment. I am from Irish and Austrian descent, both of which are beautiful places and people, but because of factors out of my family's hands they had to leave and eventually mix with others in the U.S., hence why I am a bit Scandinavian but still mixed. Yours is a noble cause, but just be careful about the "pure" aspect.

@Metalforever132 I highly doubt that the "Icelandic" look, or North European look, will ever go extinct or completely fade. Some scientists said that red hair will one day become extinct (I'm a redhead), but the genes for red hair will still be present in humans in the future. So like red hair, the beauty of Iceland won't be going away. This and the fact that humans tend to choose mates with similar physical features and traits anyway, Scandinavians usually like other Scandinavians, and so on.

It's sad that all women are dying their hair to look like their ideal human (blond - they're being racist without knowing it), and thus creating an illusion that there are more blond people than there actually are. How many blond men do you see every day? Not many. Even in Sweden there are less than 10% blond people even in the most Swedish of suburbs.

@Metalforever132 The part that I'm worried about is that trying to keep a specific "look" of a race will eventually lead to an inbreeding scenario (genetic diseases, etc.). This probably won't happen given the amount of people who are of European and North European descent, which is quite a lot. I'm just saying that could lead to problems if there isn't enough mixing. New genes are good....
@bizzyslaughter I know, a few outside genes isn't too bad. But mixing up with Negroes is ruining everything. If the statistics are true, Asians would be quite beneficial. In fact, Northern Europeans already have heritage from some mixing with the sami (Viking chieftains sometimes had sami wives), and their appearance isn't too far from ours. After a few generations, you won't be able to see the difference.
@bizzyslaughter Also, if there's a little mixing like every five generations with other Eurasians for example, but no more, the traits native to the Northern Europeans may survive. I am from Irish and Austrian descent, both of which are beautiful places and people, but because of factors out of my family's hands they had to leave and eventually mix with others in the U.S., hence why I am a bit Scandinavian but still mixed. Some scientists said that red hair will one day become extinct (I'm a redhead), but the genes for red hair will still be present in humans in the future. So like red hair, the beauty of Iceland won't be going away. This and the fact that humans tend to choose mates with similar physical features and traits anyway, Scandinavians usually like other Scandinavians, and so on.

In fact, Northern Europeans already have heritage from some mixing with the sami (Viking chieftains sometimes had sami wives), and their appearance isn't too far from ours. After a few generations, you won't be able to see the difference.

Not so very cold there thanks to the gulf stream, but it is cold. At summer it doesn´t snow, but in winter it does.

@tomcat624u Culture? I´m proud of being faroese, I´m proud of the culture and the language that sets us apart. I´m proud of hunting pilot whales, I´m proud of having sheep, I´m proud of everything that´s faroese. We are 49k inhabitants and despite that, our unique language has survived. Dr´s have said that that would be impossible.
Looking from the other side of the fence, talking about being proud of the culture and lands, I would recommend for you to write proper english.

@megauzbekistan alcohol is very expensive in iceland. a beer and cider cost like 7 Euro. Almost everything cost a little more than i do in sweden (where i'm from). a kebab with fries cost like 7euro. you can find prices if you just google Icelandic prices.
