Yes, I just bought this game [it's the first Tales Of game I've ever played] because my friend was cosplaying as Emil and I was hearing good things about the game from her and I've really enjoyed it so far. I have to admit much of the stuff they've said is a little corny and just makes me go 'wtf'. But for me the overall gameplay is pretty good. I'm considering getting the first game if I get my hands on some more cash [after I beat this one, of course]

You definitely need to play the other Tales games. IMHO, ToS2 is near the bottom of the "Tales" list, if you ranked them. (Tales of Legendia is worse, IMO)

It's still fun, but try the first Tales of Symphonia.

It's probably the best in the series.

It's for gamecube, so you can play it on your Wii.

Tales of the Abyss (for ps2) is a lot of fun, and so is Tales of Vesperia (for Xbox 360).

If you have either of those systems, I strongly recommend playing those, too.

Yeah, I don't have an Xbox360, but my brother is sending me his PS2 since my broke and I'm thinking of getting TotA, cause my friend is totally obsessed with that and keeps telling me I should play. And I've grown attached to some of the 'minor' characters of ToS2 such as Genis and Zelos, and would like to see them more in action :3

this game didnt have as much as the first game or the other tales games had but as suspected the story was amazing and was still ridiculasly fun and the voice acting was alot better than i expected so yah its an awsome game

Wrong, that was Richter, and wha´ts wrong with you?? Scott Menville ruled because i think he represented exactly Lloyd as a teenager, and also, Menville, made us feel almost exactly what was Lloyd feeling at an specific moment, please don´t say he sucked, because we´ll always remember him as the first Lloyd´s voice we knew and loved....
