It's such a pain playing terran. I usually control the ENTIRE MAP. except for the terrans Main and natural. So, I have to pick away at his defenses and army until he finally has nothing left, and is desperate for another base. It takes like an HOUR to win. It is so annoying.

This is not a typical Terran Mech play though. Normally it should be early 4-10 helion push and you won't be able to upgrade to lair and produce mutas that early. Then it should be early upgrades on mechanical units not like this guy who upgrades his marines. When the Terran pushes out, it's usually when you starts mining your third base and he will have 1 attack and 2 defence upgrades. It will be much harder for zerg player to counter.

@remadian banelings and marines are not equivalent at all..... first off. marines need to be nerfed in the sense that their dps is too high. do you think its fair that a unit that cost 100 min and 100 gas can be countered by 200 min? doesnt make sense. at all. first tier terran units can hit both ground and air. zerg first tier units hit ground. they dont have stimpacks (roaches are the slowest firing unit in the game) and their units are extreamly weak. most of the zerg units are melee as well.

Terran is the worst peace of shit blizzard ever made. I was playing 2 games yesterday ZvT. I was on 4 base vs Terran who was on 2 base all game. He made Thor tank combo with bunch of scv's repairing. He was at about 160-170 limit vs me 200. He came in to my base, destroyed everything. All my expansions, all units, with his 30 apm. I mean WTF !?!? Like I know, not everyone can play other race other than Terran, but omg how annoying it is when some noob beats you with game's worst unit combo...

I'm only silver, but against Terran, I push out 15-20 banelings, and 10 roaches. First in banelings, then after I break through his wall, he has nothing on me consistently sending roaches. I can do this all in 7 minutes

in my opinion a speedling, overseer baneling drop, roaches and mutas (to snipe out tanks and supply ships) army is more effective against a good terran. Then just exchange armys the whole time and macro him to the win ;)

I like your videos, but try to scout more. You never scouted his whole base to see what buildings he had. Also sacrifice an overseer once in a while to get a glimps on his current tech. That way you don`t run into a surprise, or you`ll be able to eat his cheese.

Wow....wow....This is amazing. I usually get scared of what my enemy has so I bunker down with my 5 expos and mass brood lords and corruptors and about 3 overseers to destroy them. That doesn't really help when they have 15 thors. But it HAS worked. Now that I see this I am going to change my strategy on a huge scale. Thanks man!

Believe it or not, banelings actually counter hellions because hellions do extra damage vs light and banelings arent light. As long as you have centrifugal hooks, banelings kill the crap outta hellions, especially since hellions are light and banelings do extra vs light.

I can almost guarantee that the only reason this had worked was because the Terran player had been TERRIBLE. His unit composition was WAY too mixed for him to be a match to anything, a rookie mistake. If you were facing a formidable Terran player, he would not have 'allowed' you to spend so much time in getting units before he rushed you with say 1-1 or 1-2 marine and siege tanks in the back. He was bad by the fact he got a Ghost Academy for no reason, mixing his forces too much.

@cbug565 banelings are not good against thors. a good terran who decides to go mech will have a few factories running and likely manage their tank/hellion/thor ratio well. 2/2 lings will able to make some stand against the thors and tanks, but I don't think it's a viable strat in the long run.

But you don't even properly magicbox, and you lose all your mutas (1000-1200 gas) to kill 3 thors (600 gas at most). I would say that is NOT a good tradeoff. and what the hell is zerglings/banelings gonna do against a mech army with tanks and hellions?
