  • @KrazyOD21 Wow this is some really great footage! What a beautiful environment to enjoy the croc in. I enjoy snorkeling with alligators in central Florida usually near a natural spring where the water is crystal clear. I find all crocodilian species fascinating and a thrill to observe in their habitat. You guys seemed to have an exhilarating experience, good job!

  • this species of crocodile is not dangerous to man. If this had been a saltwater crocodile then this footage would not have taken place

  • you guys! this is AMAZING! I love crocs.. and it's amazing how much tolerance and respect the croc had for you guys :) allowing you all into his realm, and you guys treated him with respect. the music by Incubus rocks ;) hails!

  • bad idea

  • Dumbass doing another dumbass thing and then someone gets killed same story same dumbass's doing the same dumbass things!

  • It's just brave to be swimming in that water there would be others to...

  • Omg wild footage good on u mate brave !

  • Lucky he wasn't hungry.

  • y'all crazy!

  • I never realized how fast crocs could swim. He's not so small. Certainly large enough to grab a swimmer by the leg and drown him. Thanks for an amazing video.

  • that was amazing dude, most under rated video on youtube!

  • Great location, great vid, but u r lucky u didn't bump into his mama

  • This one is small, so it afraid of the humans. I would like to see the divers try to do this with an 7 m long adult.

  • what if he/she got hungry? lol

  • Great video :-) Thank you

  • AWESOME! Beautiful footage!

  • Kool vid, but this music sucks balls dude.

  • @oysta187 I never understood why people feel the need to tell someone the music they like sucks. He chose this music, because he obviously enjoys it. Grow up...

  • @derekmorris89 Awww, why so serious? It's just constructive criticism for his next vid. :)

  • Geez, thats one timid croc. I can only assume that because its not very big that it didn't see the guys as prey or it just ate. But damn, u couldn't pay me enough money to swim with a salt water croc, their so unpredictable.

  • Is this guy still alive?? i hope his not been eatin

  • i think the croc is not hungry tats why it didnt attact them'

  • How the.........fuck?

  • @sammmmyrkr456 that would have been all nice if you hadnt said anything about blacks. see one black in the ghetto doesnt mean that they're all are from there. see one loaded white doesnt mean they all are.

  • We give the pig for the crocs and after we swimming with it. hahahaha

  • that y you are crazy timx4

  • Thats's why white people are crazy

  • mmmmmm, well the snorkeler will to live is small i see... however mate, you slightly nut, yet you should meet with Jason Isley.....

  • thats awesome!!!

  • I am sure that croc could become real "tolerant" of your presence in his stomach. DUMMY

  • Not saying that what your doing isn't extremely brave because I would never in a million years be even caught on land by that water but this croc seems awful small.

  • Good video of the croc. I muted while watching this. The 'music' was highly annoying.

  • holy shit I bet the only reason it didnt attack was because Your huge ass balls scared it

  • Thats absolutely amazing! Dude you have MUCH bigger balls than I do. I would have constantly thought; "Ok, this is a small one, but where is its mom?!" That being said, that croc was big enough to give you a run for your money. Suppose it just decided to chill with you instead! Absolutely incredible.

  • Amazing, thanks for the video :)

  • Why the croc must attack?

Snorkelers are so slow creatures, didn't represent any danger for a salty ;)

  • Well, so you all know...this particular croc died...According to the Koror Rangers, the poor thing never surfaced due to tremendous fear!

  • Um y didnt the croc attack this person??? im mean if i was a croc and all these people were getting in my face with snorkls and cameras i would attack

  • Seriously if you want footage like this you should be mroe responsible. Its just stupid. Its not even that i care if you get killed, but by doing this you will be basically teaching this crocodile that humans are fair game. If you dont care about your own life at leawst consider that.

  • i honestly dont understand the point of testing a crocodile's patience. You should know that they tend to be very aggresive...doesn't mean they always attack...but why risk it? seriously.

  • when a croc opens its mouth, it's a warning. full or not full it'll still bite you and do the death roll on you. :P

  • you're lucky this croc just happened to be full at the time.

  • I dont care what anyone says, this is is a fabulous creature!!!!! and its a dinosaur

  • in 1 episode of croc hunter steve swim with a female saltie and she was about the same size but she was agressive and at 1 point she turned around with her jaws open at steve but that was a warning, and crocs do very good in open water i dont know why jackasses think be are all about ambush they can swim as fast as a dolphin for short periods dont believe me look at adam brittons studies

  • that poor croc was so scared, still to big for me to go near but it just wanted to get away

  • Im willing to bet one day this crocodile will re-evolve to a Mosasaur, that animal only went extinct because, like all apex predators, it couldnt survive with the toughf low food enviroment when changes brewed.

  • coz u are inside submarine la

  • I can't w8 to go swimming with one. I luv Crocodiles and Great white sharks. I want to swim with a White shark too.

  • nice video. its a little crocodile...

  • Palau crocs rarely attack people because they are "sea-seas"...The last fatal attack on a human was in 1965. Goes to show that they, like the Amish are inbreds and are quite docile. NO worry people, go swim with them and see.

  • Crocodiles very rarely attack things in the water, unless they are starving or feel threatened.

  • Crocs aren't stupid, on the contrary, they're smart. A 9-footer is easily dangerous, but it probably isn't going to try to attack and eat a full-grown human (its possible but not really that probable).

  • I love crocs....wouldnt swim in their home...but hey.. they dont gate crash my house either, i still think they are brilliant creatures

  • HUGE BAAWLLZ!!!! GOOD SHIT BRO!

  • there were no danger, if crocodile open his mouth under water it will drown, sry for bad english

  • @Nickmorama ...... ur an idiot. Crocs will NOT drown if they open there mouth under water and who ever told you that should swim with them too.

  • mellow croc + krazy dude = lucky encounter!! Incubus rocks, wish i was there!! =P

  • thats nuts i cant believe you got that close to that thing man i would of shit myself

  • i bet you didn't get hurt cause you didn't freak out and act like a fish in distress like most people

  • i must say i'm impressed and jealous i may try stuff but this i could never do (i would like to though). i grew up with gators they are tame compared to what this croc could have done to you

  • very interesting video, salt water crocodile is considered the most dangerous reptile.. still I'm not sure whether you're simply lucky or... anyway.. you're definitely crazy... thank for posting :)

  • this is kinda cool, but would have been a lot better if you tried to hump it.

  • @Denapz Alrighty, now that we have the veiw from the crocophile over there, we can all agree it was a pretty neat video. As to the above statement, if he had tried to that, this video would have around 14 million veiws and be titled "Idiot man trys to hump crocodile, camera washes up on shore 3 months later.)

  • well I just read that a lady diver tourist was killed in india by a salt croc of course deep underwater!!...just like a nightmare...

  • Comment removed

  • @cikicrocus: she wasn't diving ... she was snorkelling. and she was attacked on the surface. i went to the same resort she was staying at, just 2 days after the attack (didn't plan it, obviously).

  • @mojomethys Well again media modifies relity untill it reaches us.

That event should be written in dictionaries definition of 'bad luck' :(..

  • Crocodiles dont attack underwater they attack on the surface..

  • @azemia1 I'm pretty sure that they attack anywhere. They typically feed on larger animals, though, the land-loping type which are easier to grab from the surface and bring underwater.

  • @Dselvagg Well thier oppertunistic, in all likely hood it wasnt hungry, or was after smaller prey, though it could in all likely hood drown the guy filming it, managing to tear him to pieces and devour him is a different matter, large prey normally requires more then one croc to eat, one holding while others rip chuncks out, unless it can wedge it in somewhere, or its significantly large prey.

  • smart

  • you know they can bite in water too

  • Fantastic footage!

  • you got lucky to film this video and its a good thing that the croc wasnt hungry. i would have gotten that hell out of the water if id seen one.

  • Hey I have a video snorkeling with a different species I want to link it to yours using "video response" - can you turn your video response option on please ?

  • i be hella scare if i saw one...

  • you got balls man

  • i have a reoccuring dream of an alligator or croc chasing me through my house and last night it ate me lol.

  • HAHA..Nothing to worry, crocs cant open their mouth under water

  • @delkhairio.....they can, are u dumb?, well ok, the muscles the croc uses to open his beak are much much weaker that those muscles that they use to close their beak

this is why you can keep a crocs beak closed with a bit of tape or your bare hands

still the crocs i able to open his beak underwater, true, its slower but they can....

  • WHAT!! Of coues they can!?!?

I'm no expert but i have seen footage of crocs opening thier mouths underwater??

  • last night i had a dream about salt water crocodiles. and it took place at a beach.

  • Very nice video.

I believe all crocodiles can tolerate saltwater and they tolerate it much better then alligators or caimans, but the way they hunt and the fact that they need the sun to warm their bodys they prefer to live in rivers or lakes. I often see crocodiles in the Ameca river near Puerto Vallarta and among all the crocodiles you have fishermen with nets or lines, they say that the crocdiles scare the fish into the nets.

  • Still a smallish one but Very lucky not to have been attacked. Must of had a full belly.

  • this is insane, where exactly off Palau was it? you've given me something for the bucket list

  • you're crazy and very lucky!

  • This has got to be some of the best crocodile footage out there. I've seen a bunch on Getty and National Geographic and this is better. Nice job, glad you didn't get eaten!

  • Steve Irwin it

  • if i was diving and i saw one of those, i think i'd shit my pants.

  • who's up for some underwater croc chasing?

  • the croc was like, "GET A GIRLFRIEND AND STOP BUGGING ME!!!"

  • yur so funni

  • lame.

  • man these guys got waaayy to close to that croc, lucky it was a juvenile, if that was a full grown salty they would have been fucked

  • cooooool i wuz just wondering do they have gills cuz u know they can breath in the water for a really really long time(the salt water crocodile)

  • They don't have gills.. Also they do not breath underwater...

  • juz like u play hide and seek ;P

  • id like to see ya go for a swim with a real size croc from the territory mate. thats just a baby! ahaha.

  • ahah hell i give this guy props just for having the balls to swim with that one lol. that thing could still tear him to shreds. lol frickin beautiful animals .

  • Yet 4 people have been eaten by salt water crocs since the start of 2009, just in Oz...

  • shit happens...foodchain man. i hate it when people say im crazy or they insult me for spearfishing because i dive with sharks...its part of life ya know. some say im crazy for even going in the ocean but all those people are pussies. shark attacks are rare and even if i were to move to Oz i'd still dive and just deal with that 1 extra big predator

  • people deal with me everday, they dont wory about it and im a sexual predator

  • sounds sexy lol

  • mate if you went swimming in australia with crocs you would only do it once

  • i've seen dive vids where people swam with crocs and it didnt do anything to them. i risk not coming back home eveytime i go in the water but its something i love doing and sharrks/crocs wont keep me out of the water

  • @sam7cobbin Ha ha thats for sure mate. Ive been to Australia a few times and been swimming. Needless to say I only did it once after I saw one of the big boys!

  • @TolerantofMyselfxxx he meant youd get your ass chewed off...

  • @sam7cobbin unless you were steve irwin ;)

  • im so glad i came across this vid, im going to oz soon and have been crapping it about crocs, seen a few good vids on here that have put my mind at rest that im not going to get eaten! :-) i wont be trying this though XD

  • easily best video on youtube. ill be there in 2 months!

  • it was his pet croc

  • physco must have a death wish

  • Very jawesome footage 1:42 to 1:52 that was my favorite because it looked so peaceful just floating there. <3 I would never have the guts to swim with a croc. It was very lucky for you that it wasn't hungry! X3 Also, Incubus FTW.

  • hmm any idea why the croc didnt attack?

  • He saw my guns and tried to get the hell outta there....

You got any ideas why, croc whisperer?

  • He might have thought u were too big for him...

  • @KrazyOD21 um he wasn't hungry, and you didn't smell like chicken!?

  • @KrazyOD21: That animal is too small to view a decent sized bloke as a food source, thus it is viewed as a threat. Scuba gear is prolly freaky to a croc too, especially when it looks like you're out at sea (not a smaller croc's favorite place). Also, from the size, I'd wager that could well be a female, and they tend to be alot less aggro unless guarding eggs. She does start to get pissy though, when that mouth opens up - shes saying 'Look at my teeth! Ill bite ya!'

  • @nepsnail the crocodile was small that is why

  • @nepsnail Because he wasn't a sting ray.

  • @nepsnail because the croc was 7 feet or so- 8 feet tops- they dont really go after full grown men until they hit 10 feet +- theres been a lot of croc attacks with 9 footers and a lot of people get away-

  • @nepsnail There was no need. He didn't see the guy as a threat, or as a source of food, so he just ignored him. Crocs aren't out to attack people.

  • you are so lucky

  • I didn't know there were salt water crocodiles in Palau. Thought it was only small sharks mostly.

How come it didn't attack? It seemed quite large.

  • yay incubus

  • old and sick , croc !!!

  • know some one what land i can buy a little crocodile

  • Insane!!!class vid tho

  • Wow very amazed and love you put some music with it also very amazed that you dint touch or disturbe it.

  • Amazing video, but very foolish. Had that animal turned aggressive he could easily rip your arm off. Don't forget, it's his territory, and he's a much better swimmer then you are.

  • love to see you try that with a hungry adult

  • if it's hungry dey won't be seeing it silly. croc ambush their prey.

  • sorry I didn´t mean that salties are the only reptiles who swims in the ocean. I meant salties are the only crocs who do that. sry...

  • nice video. salt water crocodiles are the only reptilies on earth who swims out in the ocean. basicly you can swim together with crocs. especially if you swim with them in the open water cause out there crocs aren´t as dangerous as they are if you would do the same in a lake or a muddy river. if you know and respect these predators they might be very billable and shy. thx for your attention. greets from germany

  • Unreal footage!! Croc seems almost placid

  • it amazes me how fast they are underwater. and agile. at any moment he could of had em, and no human could move fast enough to get away. you must have been very calm to keep the croc calm, ya know? if animals sense fear, they will attack. very good angles/shots of the croc. awesome man. 5 stars

  • dude ur lucky :)

  • WOW DANGER

  • it's not very large, looks like a young juvenile.

  • impresive stuff! it gave me a rush just to watch that!

so krazyOD21, what did you learn?

the crock never got agressive or tried to hunt you?

  • "GET OUT OF THE FUCKING WATER!!!!"

Please dont ever do that again.

Just watching your vid scared the piss out of me.

  • I'm guessing this is a saltie because it looks like it's in the ocean?

    Nice vid :)

  • omg who did vid this ???? :O

  • I did.....

  • Dude, you've got some bravery right there. Holy shit that's just wow.

  • Dude, AMASING footage!!

what's that song btw? super nice!

  • wow impressive

  • wow, you're like that annoying guy at the party this croc is desperatley trying to avoid :)

  • so fucking crazy!!!

guys where did u get ur big balls from? lol

  • Damn!, you crazy fucker. Much respect.

  • yeah INCUBUS

  • 5 stars. cool but kind of stupid to do something like that

  • You are a hero man! Steve irwin would be proud!

  • Wow, you sure have some balls for getting that close to that Croc that many times. How big was he?

  • He was about 9 feet long.

  • @KrazyOD21 yeah small

  • salt water crocs are the biggest and most dangerous reptiles living today (no kidding)

They dont drown when they open their mouth

  • Excellent Video!!

  • u shouldnt be swimming with those things man dont you remember what happened to chubs

  • Wow, mate, that's incredible! You got the guts, but you're also lucky, cause you never know what wild animals' next move is...Anyway, respect, dude!

  • There lucky there wasn,t a aldult Saltwater Crocodile

  • Just looked up Palau Island where this was filmed. Very remote so very unlikley to be an adult - as you pointed out. Adults tend to have a territory such as estuaries or brakish water, such that young crocs are displaced and wander a bit. I was reading that salt numbers are on the decline all over this region except for Aus, where the numbers are on the climb after reaching lows in the 70s. In some places they are extinct. Shame, because they are wonderful creatures.

  • Whats the song?

  • Nowhere Fast by Incubus

  • Yeah--amazing, great, awsome, etc... You're just VERY lucky it was not hungry though. And it doesn't matter weather you're underwater or at the waters edge; if it was hungry we may never have seen this footage. But grats--keep doing things like this and you just may win yourself a Darwin Award! Goodluck =)

  • awsome. Shows how amazing they are and hw brave you blokes are... great footage!!!

  • thats crazy salt water crocs are like the biggest and most dangerous crocs. that croc wasnt that big it didnt attack cuz its underwater and it will drown if it opens its mouth i might be wrong tho.

  • Awesome vid brotha! You're so lucky to have gotten to experience this. Tryin to get my buddies to go to Palau, heard the diving is unbelievable.

  • Makes me laugh when these people say "are not the mindless killers we think they are" - try camping on a river bank somewhere in the Northern Territory and see how long you last :)

Lucky for you that croc was intimidated - not many crocs in Palau so it might be used to divers.

  • WOW !! this is really something else!!!

  • This is so amazing! It's really nice to see that humans interact with these animals to prove they aren't ruthless killers. This is truely amazing footage. What a beautiful animal. :)

You are so lucky to have experienced this.

  • neat!

  • I was searching for some crocodile reference videos and this is great! Thanks a lot!

  • wonder what would happen if a shark turned up? what would the croc do?

    Nice footage mate.

  • the croc
