  • Anyone else see this goober in a 10 pocket nail bag, harness and never use one of em???

  • @tconst17 I was thinking the same thing. Is he gonna build a jig or a house?

  • Your building it out of 2x4s. So why are you spending all that time to do fancy screw holes?

  • I still haven't built this yet. Need to go to Lowes and get some MDF and screws then I'm building this bad boy.

  • lol...im trying to make a motorcycle bench...guessing around 600lbs capacity. i need it to be light enough to where if i can i can hoist it up in the garage attic or put it in the shed...i detail car and paint so i need the space when the bench is not in use. metal studs seem expensive light but weak

  • "Let gravity work with you, not against you". Spoken words of a true skilled carpenter brother! "Work smart not hard", "Measure twice, cut once", you have probably hear all those too. Good job guy. Carpenter Tim.

  • 617 where is you safety glasses

  • Really cool BUT. Too much work for that tiny bench

  • got it.....tool belt A.K.A a big rag

  • what is the clutch on the drill set at for the screws?

  • you talk way to much dude

  • my pet duck thinks your hairdo is uber-cool

  • those plans come w/the kreg jig 3 system? i didnt open mine yet i just moved into a new apt...

  • Sweet :D

  • That's Jim Carrey. You can't fool me!

  • Thanks Jeff for the great tips! I just built this workbench and I used your videos to help me. Your directions were clear. My first project!

  • he changed the set up on the jig to screw from a 2x4 to a 3/4 mdf

  • @ARMANDO895 - why did he change it from 1.5" to 3/4"? isn't he still drilling into a 2x4 with 1.5' thickness? i got confused

  • @cdoggwsu Yes I was missing something. Just used my new Kreg R3 tonight and at the 1 1/2" setting the jig will not fit width wise on a 2x4 so although the 3/4" setting doesn't place the screw in the center of the material it puts the pocket hole in an optimal place. Mystery solved :-$

  • I had watched the infomercials on the Kreg Jig and was a little skeptical that it was all that. Purchased one at Lowes and it's fantastic- even for a simple DIYer like me it's fool proof. One of the best tools I've purchased- couldn't be happier. I have used the Kreg screws and standard wood screws without any noticeable difference. Highly recommended.

  • I have a kreg jig and really enjoy it. One question, why is this guy pumping the trigger on the drill? Set the tention and drive it all the way in.

  • @ROMEYYOUROCK Who really knows, but I can tell you as a guy who uses this on hard woods, I pump the trigger a lot because I have twisted the heads right off the screws before by just driving it in...chances are that might be the reason....I am nervous on the trigger now even with softwoods because of the hours of set backs trying to fish screws out of pocket hole with no heads:)

  • This guy is on HGTV I seen his work and it is good.

  • i dunno..but this guy reaaally reminds me of jim carrey..

  • It seems so easy.

  • Cool to see the DIY folks doing this type of video. But, where's the rest? lol

  • This was part 2, look for Part 1 and Part 3 also on youtube!
